Hey Joe, I have a BCM50 that I'm interested in using at home--for nostalgia sake (We use Asterisk and Chan-SCCP for our home business). What is involved in turning a BCM into an Asterisk gateway? (Or just getting it to do more without needing $10K in keycodes?) I've been looking at the E-Metrotel systems but for a home user, the price is a bit steep. I've heard tales of "Dark Arts" for the BCM that will give me full functionality, but have not been able to find anything at all other than BCM50 serial pinouts and a "Password of the day" generator for BCM Linux. Can you point me to any resources you might be aware of? Thank you in advance.
I know this is an old comment, but it's a pretty big trade secret. There's a few who know how to do it, and will charge a large amount of money for there services.
