My mother in law had one of those. When she moved, she just threw it out, instead of offering it to anyone. In fact, she didn't offer anything to anyone. I really hate that, there are people out there that can make good use of working items, instead of them going in a landfill. It was really a shame.
I'm sorry she did that. Thankfully for me, my grandmother (who is clearing out her storage rooms) always offers things to me. I'll make videos about them over the summer sometime, on my other channel.
Great video of the RadioShack 43-326D Corded Rotary Dial the Telephone the Jordan! O no! The message machine must've cut the off due to the wind noise freakshow & the message machine started to get haywired.
2:22 if you buy an RJ11 crimping tool and some crimp plugs you can replace the plug on this phone, easy as pie! I got a crimping RJ tool that does RJ9, 11, and 45 plugs at either Lowes or Home Depot a few years back.

What a waste. Seems to be an ever-increasing mentality today too.

Thanks, Aaron! I sure do hate when the equipment starts to get haywired.

Obviously, chop the cord off first at teh old plug.
I have one.
These style phones always reminded me of the "Royal telephone" from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
Perhaps that's what it was modeled after.
Wow awesome telephone!
Thanks
While the phone itself looks nice, I too would have preferred a detachable line socket to that wired-in job.
Thanks for letting me know.
I think thats from the late 1970's or 1980's vintage. Decent find, I like the fancy style too. 👍
