Thank you so very much. A piano genius playing compositions by a musical genius on a piano designed and built by geniuses. What a happy confluence of humanity and light. Hamishe khoshhal basheed.
Bach with pedal on a Steinway ! Bach would have heard it and commanded that his music never be played again on that tinny wood sounding mallet sounding harpsichord -even though there are many types of these early wooden box sounding tingytings ! The thing here really here is hearing a French pianist think about Bach .The organ too is not a melliflous floating sound either . It's possible clanking wood machinery is a part of the mind-soul aesthetic of the baroque age and that His (Bach ) should only be played on these mechanisms ;it doesn't have to be an either /or proposition .
I am an 82 year musiclover that is in love vith Marcelle meyer.
I usually prefer it on the harpsichord; but this performance is extremely sensitive and beautiful! I love it!
After some time listening to others I can only say that this is good as it gets. Thank you.

When Marcelle Meyer plays she becomes one with the music. She is the music.
Unique! Thanks for uploading

Thank you for this post. Jewel!
She brings a beautiful lyricism to Bach.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
this is the reason why beautiful exists in the dictionary
Wow!Great!

Tell me you have listened to this with an open mind and then I will listen to what you have to say about the other interpretations.
