After taking a few weeks off to really make some good progress on this bathroom, it is finally done!
The bathroom i began remodeling 3 months ago has taught me so much, ive made quite a few mistakes and learned so many things!

It looks good. I think the total cost is well worth the end result. You got exactly what you wanted and saved so much on labor. You said you had to purchase some tools that you can use in other projects, investment, tons of experience and all that you learned, well worth it. Your tile backsplash looks like water to me and I love it. The flooring is beautiful as is the shower tile. I love your attention to detail. Everything looks fresh and classic modern mid century. It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to watch this bathroom journey. So I cheated and jumped ahead to today’s video! You are amazing, Glenda! Your vision and skill, your willingness to try new things and your perseverence are incredible! This is so very beautiful. I love the brass with the creamy beige and black. The cabinets are gorgeous. Fabulous makeover! Excellent value to have bathroom remodel complete for under $6000. Is outstanding! Prayers for safe, quick delivery of your little one!
We’re getting ready to revamp our condo to sell it. We’re trying to put the least amount of money into it ($10k max) but want to get top dollar to hopefully be able to buy some land and build or find a fixer to buy outright. Watching these makes me feel like I can retile the master bath myself! I’ve look at every option, from tiling on top of the tile that’s there, to totally redoing the tile, to having it professionally reglazed.
It’s a tough decision. Most of the money will go to flooring, which absolutely sucks but has to be done. I want to get as close to $400k as we can. We’re in Colorado and it’s a huge condo, so I think we can make it there.
We’re doing new laminate counters, the FX ones are nearly indistinguishable from stone and if we end up keeping it, they’re nearly impossible to mess up!

Watching you button up the underlay in that niche was fascinating. You did 50% better on your cost than we did on a bathroom remodel in late 2016. I'd say, given today's costs, you rocked that job dollar-wise.

I love the way your bathroom turned out, it's beautiful! But the black tile in the bathtub area doesn't match, and would have looked more cohesive , and better, if you would have matched it with the color scheme you did with the cabinets and the tiled wall , behind the sink, your knowledge is amazing.

Amazing as usual. I so want to redo my tub surround. In the past I've tiled a surround and 3/4 all around with 4x4 tile and the floor - whew! I was 31yo and am now 65. Don't think I have the energy. Especially because I would want to do the membrane as well. Back then I don't remember membranes being recommended. I would surely want it. Smart move.

Wow nicely done. I thought you were going to use the same tile as the backsplash? Oh well. The only thing I'm not liking is the design of the hardware. The concept is nice but the open ends will catch on clothing. Just my opinion. You did a great job honey. Now I need to learn to tile!
