- The 100 styles of the Casio CT-700, vintage arranger keyboard released in 1992, not 1997 as stated in the video.
Every styles are played one by one, starting by the intro, the main variation and the ending. In order to get the best audio quality, the sound was recorded on a Peavey audio mixer plugged into a USB audio interface.
The CT 700, Casio ToneBank arranger, was an entry level keyboard with 61 keys, touch response velocity, a sustain pedal input, midi in and out, 100 styles and sounds, intro/main variation/break/fill-in/ending and coda. The coda is like an ending but last longer. I chose to demonstrate the codas in this video.
This keyboard is quite basic as you can't edit sounds, it doesn't include effects like a reverb or a chorus, it is limited to the internal styles and it only has a very basic one song sequencer.
Not the best Casio keyboard, not as good as the CTK 750 or CT 670, it absolutely can't match a Yamaha PSR 8000 or Roland G-800 (which are newer and more expansive), but I still appreciate its cheesy sounds and old fashion styles.
I am a vintage arranger keyboard and expander fan. Especially, I love everything Gem (WS2, WX2, WK8 and Genesys) and Technics (KN800, KN2000, KN6500 ...). My favorite arranger is the Ketron X1. Well, nearly everything released in the 90's :)
Estos sonidos me recuerda a los sonidos que usaban las consolas de video juegos de 16 Bits en los años 90 suena muy chévere 😊
Many of the Casio CT700 models are used in Malaysian School in late 90's... Still remember when my dad brought it home and I'm so impressed with the rhythm built in..
Yo tuve este teclado y me salió muy bueno! Estos teclados CASIO son fieles a la batalla.
I have a Casio CTK-150 and a rare CTK-300 and I can recognize some of these patterns from those less expensive models.
The CT-700 actually came out in 1992, I first had a go on a CT-700 at afterschool club back in August 2001
as someone donated one. Although the CT-700 is dated I think it's one of the most underrated keyboards.
I also love it's demo song, I had been wanting to get one ever since but I finally got one in Novemember 2020
as I was no longer interested in my Casio LK-35 so I left the LK-35 in the garage.
I was also very surprised when I I searched about it on the internet because It doesn't sound as a 1997 keyboard. There is a date written in the first page of the manual too (1998.9.22), but now with what you said, I think that it was not a date but any other numbers. Thank's to share you story with me, I will update the comment of the video, though I can't about the video itself.
I still have mine and it still works like new ❤ it's over 30 years old
Question I bought it… it don’t come with a charger … I’m reading it has batteries but I still need to open it to find out because it still works
Rhythm 48=Aerosmith-Walk This Way
Rhythm 49=La Grange or Spirit In The Sky. Also the cannon rhythm was relabled as serenade on newer casios.
Thanks for posting btw

I have one here, idk what to do with it keys don't work anymore I don't know where to bring it to take a look at it if it's still has chance...

Ritmo 28 - Quando Será - Turma do Barulho

cool some old favorites from the ct656, which I still have, pitty I no longer have a power adapter for it
If the CT656 is like the CT700, you can power supply it with battery. As for the PS, it is a 9V with a very common output (the same as Yamaha I think).
@@mythaimusic39 they use the same sound chip, the ct656 contains 56 styles grouped into 8 catigories with 7 styles in each set
@@jordanlivesey4715 Ah and I see that it's got (very) slight sound editing possibilities too. Nice little beast :)
@@mythaimusic39 never messed with those properly, I've had it since april 2018 now, my main keyboard now adays is my psr 8000 and I also have a psr 220 which I regularly like to mess with
