It's pretty normal for young women (and young men) to feel unsure about their looks. Also being self-deprecating in our culture is "hashtag relatable". It's a testament to her personality that she doesn't let social media inflate her ego or make her narcissistic. Judging by her parents and her personality, she will become more comfortable and confident in time, as she deserves to.

Yes, lulus is amazing, I was in a wedding and the bridesmaids dresses were from there. The quality is amazing. If you need any nice dresses I highly suggest them, especially their convertible maxi dresses.

Getting something that fits both your waist and hips is a nightmare sometimes. I feel your struggle. I'm a UK 6-8 in tops but a UK 10 in trousers/skirts. Dresses aren't an option anymore., 😭
@@rosiecooper8030 My thighs, hips, and butt are just so much bigger than my waist so i have to buy like 1 or 2 size bigger jeans and usually theyre baggy on my waist. Also I'm busty (F cup) so i can't ever wear shirts in my size. I'm always dressed in oversized t shirt and some leggings or jeans.
@@Mangothechicken What I do: go to my local craft store, buy elastic bands (in the sewing section), measure it to my waist, and then sew it to the waistband of my jeans. Helps it be pulled in so it fits your waist, but it still fits your hips at the same time. ;)

I appreciate when you tell us the price of each piece you ordered and let us know if you think the price reflects the quality. You used to do this in older videos but not so much anymore. I know we can just go on their website and check ourselves but for viewers that aren't super familiar with some of the brands, it's helpful to get an idea of their price range! I recently ordered from boohoo. I don't remember exactly what sizes I got but probably somewhere around a US Large/12 (5'10" ~180lbs). I ended up returning 2 out of 6 items.
I'll talk about the stuff I kept first. The shoes I got were heeled booties and my only complaint is that the bottoms are not great quality. I haven't worn them outside yet but they look slippery as hell. I also got a long sleeve body suit. Since I'm super tall and sleeves are never long enough I got a tall size and the length of the sleeves is perfect and the torso length is great too. My only issue there is that I have a very hourglassy figure so the waist is gapping but I figured that it's getting tucked into something else anyway so its fine. It's also very thin but it was less that 10$ so I'm not surprised. I got a dress that is outside of my style comfort zone but it reminded me of something very specific from a storybook I loved as a kid. The fabric is not what I was expecting and the colors are all a shade or two different from the picture which kind of stinks because it's just different enough to not look like what I was going for so I'm left with a dress that is not quite my style that others say is flattering but I'm not sure (It has ruffles and is a bit modest so it's hitting my insecurities of looking younger than I am since I have a baby face and braces at 20 years old), and I don't even have the nostalgia factor to cancel that out. I still kept it but I was very torn and am still not convinced I won't end up donating it. I got a loose black cami top with a low lace trimmed neckline and a crisscross on the front. This top is scandalously low. like shows a good inch of bra low. I'm keeping it and going to wear a black bra with it for like going out or something.
One of the things I returned was another loose cami top. This one came in tall sizes so I went for that and it was just huge on me. It was also nothing special and wasn't the nicest fabric. The last item I returned was a skirt and I'm the most mad about it because I very excited for this. It was a black suede mini skirt with lacing up the side. Now, what pisses me off the most is that on almost all of their skirts misses sizing ended at a US 10 and to get a 12 I had to look at plus size options. A 12 is just a normal Large so WTF?! There were also a lot of skirts I liked that weren't offered in a plus size version. So I get this skirt and my difficult proportions strike again. The skirt fits my hips so I can't size down but is WAY too big in the waist so I had to return it.
Overall, It wasn't a total bust and returning things wasn't too hard. The sizing was a little hit or miss but most of that was my usual issues getting things to fit. Quality was a bit sub par in places like the shoe soles and some of the fabrics. A few things were slightly off from the picture but not far enough to be actually wrong, just the camera picking things up differently. I would order from them again but I would definitely anticipate needing to return things.
One weird thing about ordering was that somehow it set off a red flag for my debit card and my bank wouldn't let it go through (I couldn't figure what was wrong at first but the next morning the bank called. My best bet is that maybe since it's an overseas company they were suspicious that it wasn't me) so I had my mom order for me and she used her PayPal.

For icy or slick floors, it doesn’t matter how big or “heavy duty” the grip is on the bottom. Non slip shoes are always made with a tons of hexagon shapes on the bottom with x patterns cut out of the center of each one.
