I am fascinated by those vast landscapes of farms in US. So wide and mysterious, beautiful sceneries. Support the farmers in lands and the seas. don't waste foods
I'm from Iowa, and I can assure you, there is something hauntingly beautiful about farm country in the fall and winter. Especially around Halloween, with full moons on clear nights in late October. Spooky!
What a great video thanks!!! I'm working with my kids the topic of "corn and its derivatives" and this video about the process is so helpful, thank you so much!!!!
This video has some awesome footage of some West Central locations. I am wondering if you would allow me to use some of this footage in a company presentation. Interested to here back from you. Thanks
I'm a southern Iowa boy myself, but my folks are form northern Iowa, and I own a piece of Nickles Family Farm, LLC in Wright County. Where are the silos at 3:10? I drive through the Ames area all the time on my way to Clarion, so I was curious. The Christmas star on top looks familiar.
Typically aren't the silos pretty close to the farm. It looked like they were pretty far in this video. Do the farmers have to drive a semi a few hours every day during harvest season?
Hi, I have need of some corn feild footage, for one of my videos. Could I use your footage by chance? I don’t make money, just a hobby channel. Thanks!
How did you get past the copyright rules for using their music? I would love to be able to use this song, but they say I can't because of the copyright laws.
Phil Boyce The ad revenue goes to the record label and artist so they most likely won't have me pull it down. Just need to monetize it and let them take the ad revenue.
+notatechie Worst case predictions don't have Iowa being underwater ever. Furthermore, ag sequesters tons of CO2 per acre annually due to biomass accumulation.
The Russian and Chinese communists and America's liberals could teach these dudes a thing or two about farming. Some one call Hillary. These guys need help.
The landscape is amazing, well put together, look forward to seeing more, I can learn from you thats for sure!

Those are in Beaver, Iowa. Another 30 min from Ames off of Highway 30
I use a phantom 3 for shooting my footage. Have you upgraded drones since this video? I would looking at possibly upgrading to the inspire 1
Great video!!
+Roman Strobel Thanks for watching!
It's amazing farm harvest, it could feed millions people.
May i use this footage for a school project?

+Ryan Deitch depends where your situated, this farm probably covered thousands of acres so hauling would take a while
Bristles are very big farmers, I can't remember how many acres, but a couple thousand acres or more.
That's a co-op silo. Most farmers will have some silo space on their own land, but nowhere near enough to store their entire crop.

We used a phantom 2 vision plus for all our videos we have done!

That makes sense. Thanks very much for taking the time to explain this. There is hope then.
what model of drone are you using?
+David O'Brien DJI Phantom 2 Vision +
What drone you use? it looks awesome
oh, okay i know now.. :) i just saw couple comments down.
Why do they dump the corn in a giant pile rather than in a silo?
+Ryan Deitch Surge storage capacity in a high-yield harvest year.
What prevents birds from eating it?
Nothing..?
Nothing really does, but there is enough grain that the birds can't eat enough to be a problem
Dallas Herrmann Thanks, I find that pretty interesting!
It's pretty cool stuff, the equipment that they use to load the corn onto trucks from those piles is kind of a hybrid of an auger and a snowblower
I'd like to use 3 seconds of this clip for school project, may I?
Yes
@@kirsty7387 Ha! A bit too late now, I ended up using a different clip, but thanks for responding anyway!!
