Prefer GoPro 8 w/ rode mic over the insta camera thing lads (it's alright just not as warm or crisp)
Completely agree, its not bad but the colours are very unsaturated and a little washed out, the GoPro is far better in terms of quality and resolution.

Way I see it, I know the mx5 is a good car to drive, would I want one? No. Same with TT

Totally agree with the thoughts about the RS6 not egging you on. Even stage 2 on my c7 performance you just want to cruise. GTR was so much more fun, but as you said its such a different car.

I've been in my friends 2016 s8. I know it's not the same but I found that car too relaxing even with 520bhp. Had me thinking love the luxury but rather just have it with a diesel since it's not designed to be fun

They engineered Launch control SO well. Now would it be worth it to trade in older nissan GT-R and 17 sq5 for this beauty. This car is so functional ! wife, son, dog in the back and just go.
I love black or dark blue - flash suspension - do the mod for the oem exhaust where valves are always open_ tint the windows, paint correction - DONE. RS6 sounds way louder in the back---
RS6 has same amount of booth space as Q7 !

It’s funny there’s tons of reviews of people saying it’s really boring. However a tune completely sorts it out
A tune won't make it handle better, or disguise the weight, or make it more fun/exciting to drive.
It will just make it a little bit faster in a straight line.
My Audi feels like it's trying to kill me sometimes and does the same jumping left and right.
My fix is always the tyres. New tyres or even checking pressures sorts it out.
Gopro is the best camera, the clarity and contrast on the other camera is shocking and also the colour is too vivid, all the greens are glowing! you will both see this when you playback this video.

I don’t think there is much in it between the cameras. The 360 might be a bit if a softer image. But what do I know, I’m watching on a phone. Great video as always, especially Ben’s high pitched giggle.

I have an F10 M5 and know exactly what you mean. They are both big 2 tonne cars and they are a bit big for chucking around small UK roads and more at home on big A roads.

Picture is definitely lighter on the insta one which might help in card without a pan roof but the audio is pants ... white noises from a 60's film
If this car doesn’t excite you, you made a mistake buying the rs3 me thinks.
Rs3 is a lot lighter which generally makes it more fun

It does 3 second 0-60 and the guys talking about 2 second 0-60? Lmao. Lost pretty much all credibility after this. If the car did 0-60 in 2.5 seconds, this is the type of review to mention 1.5 second 0- 60.
It's a station wagon, saloon, estate. Not a Porsche turbo. If you don't know your cars then yes you will always be disappointed.
My boss had to get his one sent back to Germany for a rebuild as it wasn’t cooling and it melted a heap of stuff in the engine. Also has been through two windscreens

Agree completely about the sound there is no way a top model 120k RS6 should not sound as good as the old girl RS4, It shouldnt matter that you have an exhaust on it thats why new cars have switchable exhausts and engine modes, RS6 with everything turned up should o and sound like thunder!
I agree completely. But it's not totally Audis fault. Thank the new EU rules and emissions that's stricter than ever 😞. Rip fun cars 🪦. And it'll never get better 🙁.

I reckon the problem is Lee,the car is pretty much perfect( apart from the issues mentioned ,that have now been fixed), & you are actually looking for problems that are not really there.I had an A8 & I did the same,listening & imagining all sorts of stuff.The wife has a Kia,& because expectations are lower I never notice owt wrong.🤔

Turn off the colour option on the export for the insta360 it adds a fake saturation punch and often gets them wrong and you get greens that look like a high viz vest and weird yellow tones in skin, also you can see the green cast it gives the shadows, DM me I do video professionally I can help with your set up.
If I say that you both look slightly unwell on the new camera, because it’s on the dash taking in more light ( shooting into the light ) back windows, rear screen etc... so set them to the same shot and you’ll get a better comparison

Prefer the colour on the insta, much more natural, it also handles the contrast between bright sun and shadow better. Great discussion again chaps, enjoyed.
Not into the RS6 at all, it's just a blunt weapon, and not a 'fun driving experience' to me. But hey, everyone wants a different experience, and on paper the RS6 is massively fast, just not massively fun. Also, can't believe how many problems you have had with your various Audi's, very interesting.
BMW for me every time, if I needed a fast estate.
New camera seems ok but it definitely needs an external mic, picks up too much road noise being on the windscreen, doesn't seem quite as rich in quality as the gopro though.
Definitely windows down a touch in my volvo V70R to hear the 5 pot growl. That's similar though, although it's a 17yr old car with 300bhp there's no drama, it's just built solid and as the R brand states, refined. Its a proper R thoroughbred though not like all these new models that get Rline or Sline badges 🤣

Noise it at the right level. Cause more and it drones to much. Yeah short distance its probably OK. Long distance the droning will start to get to you. That's just me.

jeezo, thats a faulty car, 100k car with that many issues, shocking, I'd never buy another Audi after that but know you guys love them.
Just had 1 come in to the shop was down 3 quarts of oil in 6000 miles.
A "quiet" interior, for me, is a pro! I hate any car that has a noisy, loud, interior. It's fatiguing and annoying. That's me. So, if the 2023 RS6 Avant is quiet (interior cabin), I prefer that. The 2024 lost 8lbs of sound insulation. I'd get the 2023. Well, not today or next week.
GoPro seemed to have better colour quality but the Insta gave a nice wide view of the car.
Insta camera Audio isn't that clean they need to fix that issue also video as like a slight glare effect in top corners
Prefer RS4 for daily, more nimble, ample power for all occasions, easier to park too, Had both for full day back to back and preferred RS4 , in nardo 👍
The insta is a great camera I have one for the bike

Insta camera has nicer resolution than GoPro but the colours/contrast is better on the GoPro

Agree on the sound I have the new RS4 and it’s happier tootling around Audi have taken the fun out of the RS brand through euro bureaucrats , take the resonators off and it will sound completely different without spending stupid money 👍

Maybe because it’s a 5dr estate it won’t encourage a lot people to drive like that more practical family use, gtr u have to consider it a 3dr coupe it’s a super car.

I am coming out of an F90 M5 comp into this, mainly for these dislikes. I love my M5 but, realistically, how often do I get even half the performance out of it? It’s nearly £100k and close to 2 tons. There is nowhere on the road that is safe to push that to the limit. Plus the family don’t like it because it is so edgy. I want the size, luxury and straight line pace but the ability to be quiet and calm for the family. M5 can do that but not as well as the RS6. If I want something for the b-roads, I’ll go for a Cayman, or an M2 or an Alpine.
Yea audio the seems to be picking up a lot of road noise or something.
