Diese Gruppe Ramses glaube ich irgendwann mal bei irgendeiner größeren Rockveranstaltung gehört zu haben.
Da ich in den 60'er 70'er und 80'er Jahren in Deutschland sehr oft bei unzähligen Konzerten war, kann ich mich nicht mehr so genau erinnern.
Jedenfalls klingt das hier für mich teilweise sehr gut !
Seit Mitte der 70'er bin ich bis Heute allerdings wahrscheinlich einer der größten Fans der britischen Prog.Rock-Band CAMEL. Sie ist schon seit Jahrzehnten meine Nr.1 !
Diese wunderbare Band gefällt mir am besten mit den Musikern : Peter Bardens, Andy Latimer, Mel Collins, Andy Ward, Doug Ferguson und Colin Bass.
Leider wird diese vielseitige Band (von Jazz über Folk bis Heavy Metall) immer noch sträflich unterschätzt.
Von deutschen Gruppen gefiel mir z.B. auch Eloy, Lake, Novalis, Kraan, Jane und Anyone's Daughter ganz gut.
Inzwischen bin ich aber auch ein großer Fan der außergewöhnlichen Schlagzeugin SINA Döring (sina-drums ! ) Sie ist erst 24 Jahre alt und hat innerhalb von 10 Jahren bereits mehr als 500 Videos produziert, von denen ca. 80 excellente Originale sind.
Mit Rock The Opera ist sie bereits mehrmals quer durch Europa getourt. Fast alle Konzerte waren stets ausverkauft. Ich hatte das Vergnügen mit ihr am 17.September 2023 in der Kölner Philharmonie.

70's music has left us with so much yearning for more. So much prog and so little time. Era's of turmoil can produce some great adventures in sound and mind. For a more modern prog sound check out Riverside from Poland and give the early stuff a whirl and then move forward, if you are a progladite you will not be disappointed.

Hello MrPrimeMusic. Nice to meet you. I am a super huge prog rock fan. The best band I have ever heard was Vela Ceras. Young guys. It broke my heart that nobody picked them up. Another tragedy in the world of prog rock. They deserved better.

IMHO the most underrated Genesis song is "Seven Stones" (album Nursery Chryme)
100% agree. It's amazing until approx. 3min 45sec, then the final sets in with drums, guitar and most importantly, the heavenly mellotron, and I'm out of words. So beautiful, it's difficult to hold back the tears...

Ha ha ha - are you joking!!! Of course, if someone doesn't know KING CRIMSON, GENTLE GIANT, VDGG, YES or Soft Machine, knows nothing about PROG!!!! But definitely has to know nothing about Ramses, Rick Wakeman or Nektar, in order to enjoy the magnificent genius of Pink Floyd or Zappa-Mothers (or ART BEARS or Yezda Urfa)!!!
And CAMEL !
