Geez, I just had an alignment from a non Subaru shop, I watched one of their mechanics pull my car in hard onto the alignment machine (Dukes of Hazzard style). No lights were on before the alignment was completed. After the alignment was completed the same lights mentioned in you videos were on. I proceeded to have Pepboys run a diagnostic and they told me the timing chains were stretched? They wanted to charge me $3800 to replace the timing chains. I second guessed their assessment. I have an appointment with the local Subaru dealership tomorrow morning. I looked over the battery and it appears i need new battery (green corrosion around the caps). I purchased the car 2019 with 42k miles, it had the same stage 1 Cobb tune as yours. I have driven the car adding another 100k miles with no issues. I find it extremely strange after the mechanic pulled the car in (hard) for the alignment that the same lights would be on. I'll follow up with the Subaru dealer's findings.
Same problem and went through all of the same things. My ended up being the oil control valve leaking oil into the engine harness (not cool). Whole bunch of work later, we are good. Try checking that.
Any updates? My car has had this code pop up several times since i went stage 1, ive checked for boost/vacuum leaks, i replaced my maf and my brake vacuum pump, next im thinking of trying to clean my map sensor then replace the 02 if that doesnt work.
I actually diag an sti 2017 with this issue p0171. I did a fuel pressure test and when removing the vacuum house the psi was no going into spec. Going to replace the fuel pump and see what happens. But it's leading there weirdly
Ight bro completed the drive cycle after fuel pump repair on a sti. once you get this code it sets a permanent dtc. It disappears after the computer knows if it passes. So my problem was the fuel pump. On the repair manual there's at least 5 routes to fix this. These are just the two. I condemn this car is piece of junk lol jk. Others included mass air flow, plugged pcv or faulty engine coolant temperature sensor. The list goes on....
Ultimately it was my downstream o2 sensor that has seemed to solve it. Replaced the battery, then front, twice. Still came back on. Replaced downstream been off ever since.

Good luck brother. Lemme know

I did the same thing, came back on again. lol

It seems to have been the downstream sensor. No CELs since i changed that.
@@Ridesmoothbrother just cleaned the map sensor and my map sensor was filthy so hopefully that was my issue🙏🏻

Totally. Did front o2. Then again as subaru shop said first one no good. Battery too. Then downstream and that seems to have solved it.
@@Ridesmoothbrother I'm going to note that down I'll keep you updated

Are you still using your Cobb air intake ? Or did you take it out
Still in. No problems that I've seen
@@Ridesmoothbrother thanks this just happened to be but I think it’s because my air intake was off by like a whole inch
where should I start looking guys

@@Ridesmoothbrother Where is he downstream O2 sensor located?
@Austin Mapile basically behind driver side front tire. Turn wheel to right all the way. Follow down pipe, exhaust pipe you'll see it right there
Is it covered under warranty
I have a 02 wrx same problem I changed the o2 sensors and mass air flow sensor still comes on
I also changed the battery. It could be a gas cap loose, crazy, or an air leak in a vacuum hose. Sorry I know it's a pain.
I am On my third gas cap I still keep getting a check engine light for that
@@fleevo9538 bummer. Maybe a vacuum hose leak then? Mine is still off after changing the rear o2 sensor
Update ?
Hey Sam. CEL is still off. So my final thought is it was the downstream O2 sensor causing the issue.
i have the same code
