- Siama Hotel in Sorsogon, Bicol in the Philippines was originally built to be a home for the children of owner and designer Milo Naval - to bring them closer to their roots. They've since opened it up to others as a hotel offering a boutique experience.
Naval's furniture designs from OMO Furniture also furnish the whole hotel, with every room styled differently. Cascading lamps of mother of pearl shells hang at a jaw-dropping scale while long communal tables of solid planks of wood allow people to make new friends. Using locally sourced wood to clad the structure, and endemic plants for the landscape, Siama Hotel makes for a beautiful stay for the discerning, design lover.

I luv this …it's beautifully designed. Elegantly simple and used of local materials is very evident ...
It has the vibe of a Bali villa maybe because it blends in with nature, but featuring local design and materials. Well done!
Love this
Another beautiful video!
Beautiful! I can feel the serenity of the space. Soon,I will visit!
Some nice features and materials that soften the modernist structures but I can’t help but feel this is a study in rectangles that create boundaries rather than blending with the natural environment.
tama po kayo . similar to Bali Indonesia ang style but very Pilipino . a bit of Wabi Sabi style on furnitures - pandak ang dating .
Ang ganda.
This is what modern Filipino architecture should be and not a copycat of somewhere else.
This is a total copycat of globalist modern architecture - just overlayed (though very thoughtfully) with local materials. Love to see a true expression of provisional Filipino architecture that is not trying to be ‘modern’ (read a series of boxes).
You guys should do a tour of an ancestral house or Church.
Great idea! Thank you for the suggestion!
Milo Naval 👌
Nice beautiful house but maybe less talking.
Great DESIGN must be equipped with an Ultimate BUGS Pest control system ( mosquitoes, ants, wasps ,.. )
now i recall po . budjilayug&royalpineda built a Domicillo Hotel . no paint , bed is similar po same set-up ng structure . maganda rin po ang sa inyo use of indigenous materials .
Exquisitely designed and crafted furniture and lighting fixtures. Ang linis!
Design is just right
