    Wow Kermit pools is pretty spectacular the climb/walk in is truly beautiful….what a day! I wonder why the end of Kermit pools is chained off….it can’t be for a tour only surely ? Shame about the car trouble hopefully an easy fix…..sump plug came out because of vibrations over time it’s worked its way loose ?
    Awesome episode loved it the scenery is incredible to say the least 😍 thanks guys see ya on the next one which looks awesome to! 🇦🇺🪃🦘

    • @RoaminintheRobbo
      @RoaminintheRobbo  2 місяці тому

      Yeah Kermit's pool and the spider walk are something pretty spectacular! Not sure about it being chained off, years ago it was just chained off, bit now the sign is there about the tours?
      Could of been vibrations or possible the thread on the sump plug, not really sure. But certainly not an ideal situation for poor James and Caz 🙁
      As always thanks for watching your support Neil it is always appreciated!! Hope all is well 🍻

      @@RoaminintheRobbo yeah it is spectacular deffo on our list to do when we do part 2 of our trip from Perth…..in 2026…pending how the 2025 trip goes 😂 chained off more than likely to make a few bucks for tourists…should be accessible to all…..was it chained off the last time you went ? Yeah shame about there 4wd…loved ya saying though life gives you lemons you make lemonade 👍🏻 all good here thanks hope all is well with you guys! Made a few adjustments to our trip…lambert centre has been scrapped and we’ve added 2 new places Ivanhoe crossing and the Pentecost river….not staying at Ivanhoe crossing just crossing it and back and staying a night on the Pentecost river…..which looks a beautiful spot as you know 👍🏻

    • @RoaminintheRobbo
      @RoaminintheRobbo  2 місяці тому +1

      @Neil-clare oh that is awesome you are coming back in 2026 to explore more!! How exciting, you certainly have some amazing trip to look forward to! The Penecost free camp was just beautiful, the sunsets are magnificent! How cool you are doing Ivanhoe as well, that is still on our list to tick off. We got to see it but it was still closed cause the water was to high. You guys are going to have the most amazing trip next year!!!

      @@RoaminintheRobbo well it was our 1st planned trip….but we only got as far as the end of the GCR…then I watched one of your videos 😂 it popped up on YT I’ve no idea why…maybe because I was looking at videos of the gcr…..so it’s your fault we’ve cancelled our 1st option and now doing another option….i think it may have been one of videos of when you was on the gibb river road……..so by the looks of it you guys are influencers 😂 I thought I’d take out lambert centre and add Ivanhoe crossing and the Pentecost river…which is a better option don’t ya think ?
      Shame it was closed when you guys went…..but a blessing as it’s on your list so more camping trips for you guys 🤗
      I’m sure we will have the best holiday ever…and hopefully everything goes to plan once we’re there 🤞🏻oh have you ever been through or stayed in larrimah ? I’m sure you’ve heard of it…it’s famous for the wrong reasons.
      Have a good week and see you on the next video 🇦🇺🪃🦘
      Ps we ditched lamberts centre because of the yowies 😂 I don’t like the dark 😂

    • @RoaminintheRobbo
      @RoaminintheRobbo  2 місяці тому

      @Neil-clare don't know much about the Lambert centre but the Ivanhoe Crossing is cool and would be great to drive across. As for the Pentecost camp we loved it there so no doubt you should enjoy both stops 😁 yeah watched the Netflix series on Larrimah, wish we had know about it on our trip as we drove right past it, would have been cool to stop and have a look 🤣

    Another great Family adventure away. It looks very commercialized now, still a great adventure for the kids that they will always remember.
    On a side note did you see they approved Garden Island just south of Perth to store nuclear waste for the UK and Americans as part of ARKUS 2.0. So close to a major city. Crazy

    • @RoaminintheRobbo
      @RoaminintheRobbo  2 місяці тому +1

      @logsie3918 Thanks mate! It actually isn't too commercialised yet which is nice, as unfortunately so many places go that way. They have added steps into a lot of the gorges which actually isn't such a bad thing given how many people hurt themselves or die from falls there 😕
      NO we haven't seen that WOW!! That is crazy, given all the remote space we have in Aust if they have to store it here why so close to a major city???
      Thanks for watching mate, we always appreciate the support!

    Hi, loving your video’s. we are about to head off on our big lap. We are from QLD and know nothing about WA, so your video’s give us lots of info. We are very new to UA-cam and was wondering if there are dates on the time of year you are visiting these places. Would love to know which months you are in places. We have limited packing space and not sure of what to have handy if it’s going to be both hot of a day and cold at night. We are in our 70’s, so unfortunately we are limited as to what we can do in say: Karijini…we are travelling with younger family members.

      @LexieDuncan-m6n hi Lexie, how exciting that you are about to head off on your lap! Very envious! Australia is just so beautiful enjoy!
      We haven't put dates on the video of when we were there sorry. To give you a better idea of the time of year it was when we were at places on our 18 week trip, we started on the 18th of March and got home on the 20th of July. So the Northern part of the country was still very warm. Our latest Karijini trip we were there in the July school holidays. It was pleasant during the day, but got quite cold at night. At Karijini there are still quite a few lookouts that are easily accessible that will allow to enjoy views of the gorges with going into them.
      Happy and safe travels, hope you have an amazing time!!

      Thanks so much…we get to Karijini early June.
      We arrive in Esperance around mid March hoping it won’t be too cold.
      Happy travels to us both and enjoy renovating. Your family remind us so much of ours when we were young. Travelling and enjoying our kids. We are reliving our younger days through your eyes.
