miss ya brother! its funny how our drastically our priorities and life goals change as we age, especially when moving into parenthood and raising children of our own. I find I have a lot of the same struggles when trying to clear out my own wardrobe. many pieces become very sentimental to us as if they retain all the memories had while wearing them, you can just look at them and instantly think back to an exact moment in time. they become apart of us in a way.

It’s not much now, but I finally felt what it was like having my designer piece, and that was cool. Then I started getting into sneakers and I emassed a big collection, when I suddenly realized that I can now afford the designer pieces I really wanted, I just need to save up a bit, that was another milestone and I felt like I am slowly approaching your level. I am nowhere near your level Sanj, but I can now afford the pieces I wanted, though still not on outerwear level haha. And this is all to say, that with your videos, I was able to finally express myself the way I wanted to, with the pieces I really wanted. While I feel like looking at all these designer pick up videos, I felt I needed to stay sober and don’t just buy whatever, but have a curated collection, sort of haha. All the blabber, but thank you for showing me self-expression!

Is there a point where being stubborn with waiting for the right price is a lost cause? If nobody is willing to pay the price for an item, then over time I feel like it becomes less and less likely that someone will fork out for it.
I feel you entirely, and I would agree if I was in a position where shit has truly hit the fans - at which point, of course I'd take whatever I could get for a piece. Fortunately, we're not there quite yet so I don't mind holding onto stuff, don't get me wrong - I'm aware that I won't get back what I paid, just what I believe to be the fair market value.
One thing I've noticed about myself is the times I have the most fun with fashion are also the times I've sold a lot of my clothes/not bought many new pieces. I hope that's the same for you man. : )
