One of my favorite Chigorin games. Thanks for the stem game, as I knew it wasn’t entirely Chigorin’s idea but didn’t know who it was exactly. A very aggressive attack typical of Chigorin’s style, with the power of the active bishop pair and semi open h file being used to the fullest, and the final tactical blow of Nf3+ to finally breakthrough on the king side. Excellent as always.
I love Chigorin's games, because I can actually understand some of them, and they are beautiful. If I had one "chess wish" it would be for two informal games between Chigorin and Fisher p;aying both sides of the Evans.
I find them in old books. When it comes to this exact game, I saw it long years ago in a book called "Journey to the Chess Kingdom" by Averbakh and Beilin.
