Fingers crossed that a tidal wave of people from certain parts of the world don't overwhelm Nelson the same way they have done so in Auckland. It's my old hometown and it was so refreshing to visit Nelson recently and enjoy it's beauty and of course it's balance.
Nelson has already been "discovered" by rich Aucklanders and foreigners (esp. Asian). Only a matter of time before real estate prices go through the roof if not already.
