haha - there's no bridge - it appears to be verse chorus with a noisy lead - you do understand i just press record...i auto write... in this case,i asked sara to play a beat,turned to heike and said "play these 3 notes" then made it up on the spot,then figured out the rudiment for the drum machine as click guide,pressed record on protools,then i edited it into a song....done... i will revisit all the tracks after i am done writing to write lyrics and overdub guitar parts,then mix
Ha ok it's the beginning of the chorus so. Anyway.. I understand this spontaneous way of writing/recording. I think we are a lot to do it like this. Do you mix in the box?
+Arcane Music Space I record it as is - all my gear has a sound and the mics,and pre-amps and compressors- the final mix comes later but it sounds like this as I go
I have the same feeling. When I start recording, it has to sound by it's own from the beginning with only three tracks. If I have to add more tracks at this time or some plug ins to make it sound it's that i'm on the wrong way. Just three synths to a tape machine and go.
