In Living Color - Heavy D & The Boyz Ft 2pac - Live Performance
Вставка
- Опубліковано 9 січ 2010
- 2pac is in the blue cap with the black sweatshirt. Tupac had gone solo and had 1 or 2? albums out by this time, however this was before he became a worldwide phenomenon. You'll also see Puff Daddy in the background, who was managing Jodeci, Heavy D and other Uptown Records artists before CEO Andre Harell gave him the boot.

When you see PAC, Heavy, Jlo, Flav, Puff, maan this is what hip hop is all about. Rip PAC and Heavy. Rip to real hip hop too😭
what people don't know is Biggie Smallz was signed to Uptown... this is the era where Pac said ''you used to sleep on my couch''. They was all friends, but Big was Puffs guy, he had the single PARTY & BULLSHIT, the remix with Mary J, the song with Super Cat.. so don't be surprised to see Pac and Puff having fun together... this was the good times lol
Wow didn't know all of that thanks for the hip hop facts
its crazy looking back on it and seeing them in thid video pac his man and puffy all huddled together dancing and singing .All people know about these two guys is the feud they dont know enough about how these two were all cool at one point
Yeah, pac never rly wanted the beef, it was 50% bcuz of Suge and 50% bcuz of suge made Pac think that biggie shot him. Fuck Suge, he just wanted to make more money and ruined whole east and west friendship

Oh my god... Heavy kills it.... Old school hip hop 4life..... R. I. P.
Jim Carrey and 2Pac same stage ! Damn
what does that even mean? did i miss something legendary about jim carrey?
Nothing to do with rap, but in his own field (comedy and acting), Jim Carrey is a huge icon in his own right. Although, just in general, you wouldn't think you would ever see Tupac and Jim Carrey (two icons from completely different worlds of entertainment) on the same stage together. I think that's what mox95 was alluding to.
Pac once said that Jim Carrey was his favorite actor.
Two epic performers from my childhood. Also, Carrey wrote to Tupac when he was in jail and the two became friends after that.
And Puff Daddy
Did anyone catch Diddy jumping up and down with Pac......he had his arm on Pac's shoulders......
they were in a group huddle and pac at the beginning is standing there rocking out next too puffy
everybody surprised that Pac is on stage with Heavy, flava and Puffy don't know that Pac was with Digital Underground? Digital Underground was huge back in the day and everybody knew all the members of DU, that's where Pac got to know all the famous People before he went solo.
Heavy we miss you 🤗🥺
Back to beautiful memories
Man I just got extra excited checking this out!!! R.I.P. Heavy and Tupac!!!!

Nothing but legends!!!

I MISS THE UNITY THOSE 90'S & 80'S ERA HEAVY D A LEGEND BUSINESSMAN ICON
I'm hyped about Heavy's performance! Awesome and Clean, as Always! He and his crew were so uplifting and talented. I loved them! RIP Heavy D and all the great hip hop rappers and icons who are no longer with us.Your work and spirit lives on!
R.I.P. 2
Tupac & Heavy D and to all the ones we loss in real hip hop.
Heavy D(Rip) ..Tupac(Rip) ... Flavor Flav, Puffy... & the untouchable Eddie F
Tupac was definitely a HYPE man for Heavy D in this video, just like he was for Digital Underground prior to this. Pac didn't become mainstream until at least 1993 when he did Poetic Justice and dropped crossover hits like 'Dear Mama' and 'I Get Around.' You can see at the end, that this performance was from 1992. Pac probably saw this as an opportunity to be seen on a popular TV show and Heavy D let him perform with him even though Pac wasn't on this song.
@juliennavis3370 I forgot I commented on this video (12 YEARS AGO!! lol) until I got a notification that you responded. I had to jog my memory about why I commented and it came back to me...a number of people commenting on this video (at the time) couldn't understand/believe that Tupac was probably the least known person on the stage. So I pointed out that Tupac was still somewhat unknown when this episode of In Living Color aired (early 1992??) and being on a popular show like In Living Color was an opportunity for him to be scene. Rosie Perez even introduced Pac as "Tupac from the movie Juice." Nowadays, when most people see a video of Tupac, they assume he was already the big star he eventually became.
Back when hip hop was tru hip hop!!!
The end credits roll is what did it for me...hella nostalgic...if you were a kid in the 90s, tv was everything!
Classic 💯damn I miss tha 90s real rap music damn
Man heavy d went ham!!!!!
WOW! puffy and pac standing together pac's jamming out while puff just playing the cut in the background behind heavy..hands in pocket with that wide eyed stare he has .Heavy D wasnt going to let puff jump in on his sets puff knew better than to let heavy do his thing .Alot of people dont know but pac was a big heavy D fan

R.I P. Heavy D.
All legends
R.I.P. Heavy D
@tzamora09 Thanks for the feedback. I don't think there's anything wrong with mentioning 2pac's name at the forefront along with Heavy D though. I make no shame of the fact that I am highlighting 2pac's name in this video! :-) I'm not misleading anyone, it is Heavy D and the Boyz ft 2pac. Misleading is when you see a video highlighted such as "The greatest football touchdown ever" and when you click on it, you get some soft porn or Rick Astley. Now THAT's misleading :P
RIP Heavy D 🙏🏾
This is my favorite memory of Heavy-D RIP
watchin cable tv i just found about the loss of heavyD ,,,bummer i liked his sound alot! dang
