2Pac appeared on In Living Color 2 times. He was supposed to scheduled as a musical guest on March 13, 1993 to perform during the close of a Season 4 episode of "In Living Color", but was arrested that night, following a fight outside the show’s production office. Sitting in a limo outside of the production office before his scheduled performance, Tupac and several friends decided to spark up a joint. Nobody bothered to ask the limo driver if he was okay with that. He wasn't. An argument ensued, and when the driver walked toward the trunk of the car, Tupac assumed he was getting a gun. Fearing for their lives, Tupac and his friends pounced on the driver. A fight ensued. When the melee cleared, Tupac decamped to the show's green room, which in where the police found him when they arrived. The scene grew more intense. The Fly Girls were told to stay in their dressing rooms, became Lisa Joann Thompson. They get in an argument about it and the limo driver goes around to the trunk of the car and Tupac’s friends jump him, beat the crap out of him and he calls the cops. David Alan Grier tells the story really funny, he comes out of his dressing room thinking the cops are extras. And he starts yelling asking why all of these extras are back here. The stage manager says no, those are cops and they’re here for Tupac. It was total chaos. Rosie is screaming and they haul him away. The police slam Tupac up against the wall, handcuff him, and cart him off to jail. Heavy D & the Boyz performed in his place. By the way, that was the only time that a 2Pac song "Holler If Ya Hear Me" was featured in the dance break on an Season 4 episode. He would appear later in season 5 in this sketch episode, but that’s why he was never a musical guest on this show.
1992, In living color was the shit!
Yes it was.
R.I.P. 2Pac and Heavy D
Ahh, Cross Colours. I loved that clothing. Heavy D was a great performer. ❤ rip

Man i miss this era. This was dope asf
I loved watching this show with my mom as a kid. We lived in the east bay and this music was the culture. Looking at it now…I can’t believe my mom, who would be in her 70’s, loved this show with me when I was in middle school. Music then was just so freaking good ❤
Come on you remind me 1990s MTV,, unforgettable years
A great time for music. I DJ’d through this period. What you see here is how parties were like. A great energy. What a time.
damn....how many legends can fit on 1 stage?
Ikr 💯👍🏾
Puffy in the back just getting hungrier and hungrier.
Only Heavy could have bring Tupac and Diddy on the same stage. Heavy was all about peace ✌
They all were affiliated with Uptown records... They tried to recruit Pac there but like Flav, he already had his record deal on his own... He just had love for the hip hop artists of those times... It was rap against the world to him until they turned on him...💯💯💯
This was before the beef 😂😂🤦🏽♀️
What.... Rosie Perez, Tupac, Jennifer Lopez, Heavy D, Carrie Ann Inaba, & Flava Flav on the same stage. Yes!
NJCUJan Puff daddy too homie!!
i see puffy there too
Jim Carey back row
Heavy D was a Player, he wasn't a Hater like everyone else who followed him.
Heavy D and The Boyz, Flavor Flav, Pac, and Puffy! Talk about Black star power. Rest peacefully, Heav and Pac.
I love this beat so much lol
Damn...as fast and wreckless as flavor flav was who thought he would outlive pac and the overweight lover? Dude is 60 and looks healthier than ever...
If you lucky you will get old 😢..gen z stop the violence 😢 RIP... vote 💙💙💙
I watched it live and I must have laughed for about half a day BUT when the late great Charlie Steiner played that sucka on sportscenter and accurately described the situation as a rendition of Francis Scott Off Key I lost it 😂😂😂
Time fly's
In living color really was in tune with what was going on with rap music at the time, nothing ever seemed forced or phony and you could tell the artists where having a good time performing.
THX FOR UPLOADING THIS! ❤❤❤
I'm actually drinking coca cola lol
That Sunday night lineup on Fox was prolific.
Mary had a little lamb a little lamb we used to sing that at school but most of us grow up

is that puff daddy in da background ???
🔥👍
demias que demais
Ole Jlo didn't show any gratitude to Rosie Perez for getting her hired on In Living Color. Not a fan of Jlo for over a decade now...she sold her soul for real though.🤨
Real question: why in the hell did Tupac destroy all these relationships?
2Pac did that huh...🤔🤔🤔
So where was Tupac then ? 🤭🤔
Pac didn't perform cause this was Heavy D's shine, but if you look at the beginning right after Rosie announces them, Pac was right there.
He’s the one dancing who looks like 2pac
I mean 2pac had already had a album out at this time. He was just supporting his homies nothing crazy at this time.
Jamaican white
