- The assault on planet Remora begins. Cryos is once more sovereign of planet Ice. Bone, Fire and Ice stand against their common enemy. On planet Ice, Tekla and Voxx search for a special weapon underground. Blokk, Lamprey, and Voyd unleash the ultimate power of Remora against their enemies. Blokk fights on and Emperor Femur abandons his comrades leaving them to fend for themselves. Remora fires and destroys half the battle fleets.
Watching this has convinced me that if Mainframe Entertainment had teamed up with Games Workshop, they would have made an awesome Warhammer 40k series.
Especially ironic since they share half the same voice cast.
I would love to see someone secure the rights to Shadow Raiders: War Planets and make a Tabletop Game out of it. War game covering the Resource Wars and the War with the Beast Planet, Skirmish Games, an RPG so people to form their own Grand Alliance and face off against Lamprey and Blokk.
hello space people go up or down from the oviously slow moving energy orb. As far as we can see it doesn't track its target.
It's actually moving fast than you think. On the show it looks slow but think of how many km's (miles) that is per second. Plus its really big and very dangerous. One slight touch and your dead.
This series needs to come back. It existed during a golden age of cartoon computer animation.
I know I'm bumping a 2 year old comment - but it'll never happen. The series ended because Trendmasters wasn't seeing the toy sales they wanted.
Thing is, the series was made for an age group that didn't buy toys anymore...It's awesome (if corny at times) but it's not for 8 year olds either :P

@@Darkdaej they were at every Toys R Us and KB Toys. I had all of the toys except the action figures. The planets and moons came its little vehicles and micro figures. I had the beast planet and planet remora. Sometimes I bought multiples of them so I had a huge army and pitted them against each other. Good times.

This series seriously needs a reboot.

At this current time i`d be very worried if they tried to reboot it.
they would probably ruin it like they did reboot.
True, Voltron is the only animated reboot done right available these days. If they tried to reboot War Planets now I'd be afraid that they'd dumb down the story and characters, or cheapen the animation budget somehow. Or worse, do what they did with Reboot and replace the cool, interesting, original alien characters with human characters, especially generic kid characters, ugh.

I can't believe Femur and Pyrus get along so well. They are complete opposite. Femur ran away at the first sign of trouble despite people begging him to fight and next episode Pyrus rushing into battle like it's the best thing ever despite his vizier telling him not to. lol
For some reason I always felt Pyrus liked Femur because of his casual "I don't give a fuck" attitude about life. He'd been sheltered by Vizier since his father's death and ruled a people who were hot-headed, but also very focused on tradition.
Femur was a pure hedonist...something Pyrus likely wished he could be. Remember what he said when Femur made his introduction in Episode 4? "This is how a king SHOULD live!"
I also think femur had a soft spot for pyrus. Pyrus was the only one in the alliance was halfway decent to femur who grew to respect Pyrus.
I liked Blok's face jittering. It looked disturbing in a cool way.
I assumed that was just part of his bizarre ghostly/alien biology, like his skull face was an out of focus image on a screen or a mirage etc. He still looks cool either way, but I wonder if the animators simply decided they liked him better without the jittering or if the jittering was an animation error they finally got around to correcting?
It kinda lent the idea that he was constantly ANGERY. At the very least wished they'd explain it was involuntary.

I wish the finale of beast wars had a crossover with this show.

How is it that Beast Wars had 3 seasons, two spins off and 1 sequel; and that reboot had 4 seasons, 2 movies and one reboot; but this show only has two season of 13 episodes each?
Who the fuck makes those décisions?

Ya Reboot has a larger cult following, and Beast Wars us connected to the popular Transformers franchise.
In contrast Shadow Raiders/War Planets is far kess popular and made far less money.

Planet Remora is such a cool design and I wish we seen more of it, It really stands out from all other sci-fi planets and space stations.
