haven't even stared watching yet and I am blown away just seeing Erigaisi, Carlsen, and Nepo just chilling there.. so cool to see. Thanks for making these videos because the livestream makes it impossible to follow along individual games. ChessBase India for the win!!!
I like this sett up the best, the faces, the clock, the board, it is all clearly visible. It would be even better with comment of Sagar, but I would prefer it when the title of the video would not give away the result of the match.
King Safety, King Safety, Magnus lost again for not castling his King in the beginning of this opening. Arjun is great converting even a small advantage. Good job Arjun
seems like most of the ppl want commentary in this.. for me chess was enough to pull all the intrest..arjun taking an advantage n not letting it go tht too against the goat is so impressive.esp in blitz.seems like indian youngsters have now covered all the format wholly.
wow -the first three minutes of this video is quite fascinating. This guys share the biggest stages in chess but they cant stare at each other in the eyes nor even make friendly conversation. What kind of mindset they must be in.
Magnus is just trying random stuff and he mentioned that he had very little sleep since he got there. Magnus is still the #1 player in the world by far.
Arjun summons his Queen's army, while Magnus thinks about his King's safety. Strong Play by Arjun! 7:36 Magnus loses one of his Strong Rooks, I believe this was a huge loss for him.
This was just such an uncomfortable position to play for Magnus from very early in the opening, I am surprised he went for this. A computer would of course say it’s close to equal but there were very few natural moves to play which developed and untangled black’s pieces, the A8 rook was always going to be difficult to find scope for given black’s kings positioning. Arjun did an awesome job maintaining that nagging edge throughout the middle game until It finally resulted in winning the exchange, great technique to convert also, never gave Magnus a chance to find counter play.
I don't know much about chess but why Arjun was not there during world champion matches when Gukesh won ... I see Arjun's rating is more than Gukesh. Please answer
Gukesh is playing in the upcoming World Chess Championship because he won the 2024 FIDE Candidates Tournament, an event that determines who will challenge the reigning World Champion. Although Arjun Erigaisi has a higher rating than Gukesh, it’s the Candidates Tournament, not the rating alone, that decides the challenger.
Sagar Sir, Please buy Arjun a pair of suit....because he wears the same suit over and over again since time immemorial whenever I am watching him playing. This is not a joke isnt it.
Great play by Arjun🧡Magnus is very tricky, he never gives up till the end. Arjun held his nerves very well
Magnus arranging board for both at the end ... ❤
Nihal taught him
@@ManiKandan-xb2yk How exactly did Nihal "teach" Magnus?

Erigaisi played a wonderful game here
12:15 dap was crazy 🗿☝🏼
In a sport where the sharpness of your mind means everything, I'm surprised Magnus even dabbles with alcohol at all rather than avoid it altogether.
@@ForumLight Magnus already have completed chess and now living life
Yeah magnus is so elite that on his off day he can beat anyone and on his best days, he’s invincible
Arjun was very calm ...with accurate moves..great game gms.seeing Magnus in a trick game
its very tricky even though he has 2 rooks at the end, those two pieces are deadly combination, nicely taken by arjun
Are you trying to say 2 minor pieces are deadly than 2 rooks?
😂😂@@iamuser1001
no ,but i said its not easy to take over the advantage even though you have material

Good game Arjun. Held his nerves and converted a winninv position into victory.
I still can't believe Arjun is only 20 years old and able to beat Magnus 😮
??? do you have any idea ho many players aged 20 or less were able to beat Magnus?

You mean ChapatiGPT 😂
We need AI commentary in Sagar's voice and style when real Sagar can't. We are not here for these silent videos 😅
Invite Arjun to classical events! 🎉
Exactly, let them give the guy chance in classical like they used to in the past
Every time Magnus is sitting down before “they” start I’m nervous because he seems to do much better when he’s late!

Love to see GMS play like this.
Getting the queen earlier and stopping castle was a clever move.
Magnus uncharacteristically indecisive before the time pressure.

Magnus won many games in this tournament. He's not in bad shape either
Magnus literally increased his ratings in this tournament. He even win against Arjun in the next game.
