This song is absolutely fantastic, the art is beautiful, and kinito feels like he knows what’s he’s doing and feels evil but still his motives are derived from his desire for friendship, and the final line of him saying “I’m sorry I wanted to be your friend” makes him feel human even though he’s strings of code

Kinito couldn't do the right thing because of the power and control he had, which made him unable to understand his impulses because he never suffered repercussions for his actions, basically saying it's justified to end the hell he created as the ending of video showed.

I love the way both these videos for this song feel so different, just because of how kinito is portrayed, in this video he feels more guilt trippy in the end when he says “I just wanted to be your friend” but the other video makes him seem more friendly, the little emoticons hidden in some of the text, and at the end the way he looks he genuinely seems like he’s apologizing :D
