Watching Doordarshan after a long time and I'm amazed at the quality of the news and technology assimilation they have undergone. Really happy to see a state media doing so good
I noticed it too! Its nothing like what used it to be 20 years ago.
This was under the face lift programme. Which DD went thru in the past 5 year. And that's because of the need for India's own National Broadcasting network. Every major nation has there own state own network and are World known but our's wasn't doing that good. So the government did a make over for DD and now trying push hard to make it more known.
Which should work! Given the investments which were done.
