  • Thread lifts are a great way to achieve a facelift effect, without invasive surgery. Threads are inserted into the skin and “pull” the skin up to tighten and firm. There are 3 types of threads: PDO, PLLA, and PCL. Today, @Chrisoptopher McGrady shows us how to do a thread lift on your temples using PLLA Mono threads.
PLLA threads are based on Poly-L-Lactic Acid and help to firm and lift the skin. They typically last up to 18 months and also help restore the skin’s moisture content. As time goes by, the threads attract more moisture and stimulate more collagen production, so results often become visible after 4~6 weeks. PLLA Mono threads are great for tightening loose skin and providing volume.
