Crown Victoria's so Hard to find as Apposed to the Mercury Grand Marquis are so Many. My Dad who 91 Now still has His 1981 Mercury Marquis Brougham Coupe. In 81 the Grand Marquis was a Top Trim Package. 1983 the Grand Marquis became a stand alone car. But back to my Dads 81 Merc. He bought it off the Showroom Floor. 2 Tone Gray over Blue with Blue Leather interior. The Brougham was the mid level trim package. In 81 it was Marquis, Marquis Brougham & Top Trim was the Grand Marquis. My Dads is a 2 Door. Even when New it was a Rare Car as Both Ford & Mercury only made just under 3000 2 Doors as apposed to over 30.000 4 Doors. My Dads Merc has 62.000 Miles & been Garage Kept since New. My Dad still takes it to the Ford Dealership for all Services right down to Oil Changes which He has Done once a year as Dad Rarely Drives anymore so for Past 8 years its been my Chore to take it in for Service. Even wen New it was Not Dads Daily Driver. Dads other Vehicle is a 1987 Ford F150 XLT LARIAT 4X4 in same Color Combo as the 81 Merc just Reversed Blue over Gray. Wen He Bought the F150 it was the Salesman Who showed my Dad the F150 Because the Salesman Noticed the Color of the Merc & My Dad instantly Fell in Love with the Truck. My Dads F150 He cares for it just Like the Merc, Garaged & Dealer only Cared For. To Date the F150 has 72.000 Miles. My Dads Vehicle's have Low Milage cause its My Moms Car is there Everyday Driver which has always been a New Town Car every 5 Years up until 2011 wen my Parents Learned no more after 2011 that they Traded in there 2009 Town Car & Got a 2011. Moms Lincoln just turned 30.000 Miles . Well thats My Parents Ford Automobile History. Thank you to those who took time to Read this. My Parents will appreciate it.
