My mom had one when I was 12 I'm 33 man that was the 1st car I learned how to drive and it lasted for a long time in till someone stole it and never seen it since
Similar sister car to my 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 50th Anniversary Edition in the same deep shadow blue metallic color. Mine has the full cloth carriage roof with gold anodized exterior trim and badges including trunk mounted luggage rack. According to a plaque on the dash board it is one of only 250 built with this trim package. These Panther platform cars were amongst the best that Ford/ Mercury ever produced.
Any Crown Vic is good especially the ones with steel bumpers. Every new car these days is trash and are death traps on the roads. They throw out common sense for foolishness and same with values these days. You won't see much of that anymore
Wow, this Crown Vic LX is very similar to mine, only it is an '89 instead. Same color. It is interesting that the '90/'91 models, while retaining the original 1979 body shape (this brought back the clear signals), had a completely updated dashboard that would be used for the cars a few years after. Same applies to the Grand Marquis.
Mine is the rare two tone brown with creamy brownish Valore interior, Amber signals, and no power antenna. I wish mine was in this one's condition, but it's pretty close.
I once hit a full grown 300 pound deer with this car going 65 MPH and the car barely had a scratch. Today's cars would've been totaled. They don't make cars like this anymore.
I have one of these I'm appreciating more, good condition in I'm the 3rd owner. And I call it The Boat cuz driving these, it's so smoooth like gliding on water. Long car rides is very roomy and relaxing. Hit a duck going 65. Not a dent or nothing, but the duck might if be obliterated... 😅😬. :( Solid car for sure..
This is a 1991, Ford Crown Victoria. If safety is a high priority, please consist of these safety features, optional safety features are included: Front Vandalized Disk Breaks Passenger Airbag(optional)
I'm not a fan of the standard roof with the sloped rear window. Both the Crown Vic and Grand Marquis look so much better with the optional Brougham roof with the fatter C-pillar and more vertical rear window. This car just looks ungainly.
It's a beautiful car either way if it has that roof or not. The police interceptor models deleted the padded roof option and they had a 351 Windsor carbeurated V8
@@jaystevens3084 Yes, the standard roof looks better without the padded vinyl. If you want the vinyl top, the optional Brougham roof treatment is the way to go. It makes the car look more formal, more like a Town Car.
This car is wonderful, it goes from Chicago to the Panama Canal and back with all the comfort and confidence in the mechanics.
A classic car, in every sense of the word.
With the music , and how mint the car is , this is some straight up carporn here. 😂

I personally like the ltd crown vics and the p71 interceptor
Tanklike luxury.
Funny Ford kept this body for the 1991 Crown Vic but dumped it for the 1990 Lincoln Town Car.
