Check out the tippmann m4-22. It's a fantastic training tool for the AR platform. It functions exactly the same as the real deal and has last round bolt hold open unlike the 15-22. And, also unlike the 15-22, the tippmanns magazines are inclosed and not open to dirt or debris and looks just like a standard magpul magazine.
4x 22lr rounds down range for every 9mm on the same budget means you can train all the key fundamentals that much more. No one would choose to go to war with 22lr as their primary, but it'll get the job done in a pinch for the average person.
Fun facts about 22lr vs 30-06; practice with the 22 on targets at 100y will, roughly, translate to target shooting the 30-06 at 300y. Have fun reading the ballistic charts. 😊 Good practice.
That semi auto rifle is nice i have a rossi rs22 i been looking everywhere for a 25 round mag cant find one to save my life and i been searching for 702 plinkster mags as well

@@Robert-m7s2j I think you have the wrong mindset bud, 22s are plenty lethal, although I wouldn’t use one for primary defense, it is an amazing training tool
Silly comment. A trained person with a 22lr will always be far more deadly than an undertrained person with a 9mm. 9mm is a superior round for self defense for sure, but the better trained person will always be more lethal. You can put 4 lr rounds down range for every 9mm on the same budget.
