I found this very informative on what to expect. I didn’t find the examples “fake” rather a good starting point for me to develop my own personalized responses.
Tsa only ask situational interview question, for example...... "Name a time you had to deal with a difficult customer." When answering every question make sure you use the STAR method (situation, task, action, and resolution).
I remember having graduated from college and having a clean slate too! Just put your education, any volunteer work, and what organizations you were a part of in school and what role you had. As the other mentioned, how you tackled a problem in school if asked. I think it's better to have a clean blank slate than a messy job history (deplores her own). Be very careful of what jobs you accept in the future when you are strapped for cash, those temporary jobs can come to haunt you in future job applications. Ex. "So why exactly did you work with EverGreen Trees as a salesman for a few days?" Ugh! I regret sooo much so many varied jobs I have had. At the same time I have learned a lot but I really don't recommend doing so! Good luck dear~
I'm in the hiring process. I was downsized in my job. My airport assessment next week. Yes, they do a credit check and background check. Not surprising as this is a Federal job. Also, no exposed tattoos nose rings, etc.. They don't want you looking like an over-paid NBA player..
I was asked one of those stupid f*king questions like “recall a time you were attacked and how you responded”. And sometimes I nail the answers with all my experience. And other times I’m tired as absolute F*K and can’t answer right.
We do not have a definite answer on that, but just looking at normal traffic patterns for our TSA Screener questions, I would say yes, they are not hiring at the moment, or hiring at a very very limited pace compared to pre-COVID.
@@mezbahtareq622 I can’t really say what was discussed cause they make u sign an NDA. But I didn’t get it cause it’s been months since the interview. Others on Reddit that got the job stated they were told not too long after. Srry that I can’t say more, hope this helps.

As did I.
Very informative along with realistic Q&A. I have my airport assessment and structured interview coming up in a few days. Thanks for this video!
How close was it?
What if this would be my first job? How would I answer what my biggest challenge was at a previous position?
Maybe you could think of some challenge you faced in school?

@@MockQuestions Still was very helpful, thank you for sharing. I highly appreciated it! 😄
Is it true that TSA does a credit check when your going through the hiring process?
yes
I'm in the hiring process. I was downsized in my job. My airport assessment next week. Yes, they do a credit check and background check. Not surprising as this is a Federal job. Also, no exposed tattoos nose rings, etc.. They don't want you looking like an over-paid NBA player..
Yes it is true
@@MrPolymers how about let's not be judgmental?
yes credit check and background check as if you're applying for a top secret security clearance it's highly unnecessary

Is the TSA still going through a hiring freeze?
I have the same question. I've been waiting since forever 😩
