Hi Josh. You missed out on the top party trick of the garzini wallet. It's called "magic wallet" for a reason, pretty much one of the oldest magic tricks out there. This kind of card holder design is quite old and came out long before the current hard case slim wallet hype... You don't shove the bills awkardly under the strap by hand. You do have to fold them, yes, but then you just place them between the two halves of the wallet, close the wallet and open it up again to the oposite side. Because of how the center straps are built, they switch sides depending on opening the wallet from the right or from the left and in that way, anything that is placed in between the wallet halves is "automatically" pulled underneath the straps.
I got the Groove life at start up. I like it a lot. My trip critiques for it would be that the elastic band (like all I've experienced) stretches or and I i find myself needing to carry more cash than I want to do that it stays snug. The other critique is the wallet is so smooth i find it difficult to operate one handed. I'd like to see a future iteration with a little bit of grip to lift it with the thumb easier. I just ordered the secrid and look forward to using it.
I put the leather part of the wallet on the front part that slides up for added grip. This also allows me to use the money clip so I don’t have to stretch out the elastic band.
Have the Secrid mini wallet but with a different cover, but very similar to secrid official cover. Love it. Might pick up the Frenchie one for the mother for her birthday though for the air tag space alone.
I really appreciate the reviews you've put together on this channel! The first video of yours I came across was what convinced me not to buy the Ekster wallet (and I was set on the 18k Gold one haha so you saved me a pretty penny)! At first I thought it was going to be one of those videos where someone unjustly hates on a brand, but you honestly changed my mind! Then I watched a couple of your reviews on the Secrid Wallets and I was sold. I just went and picked up a miniwallet today as per your main recommendation in your videos regarding Secrid wallets. However, I think I'm going to swap it for a Twin wallet! I'm obsessed with the pop-up mechanic and hate going for the cards inside the wallet now haha. Plus I find that after stuffing the mini-wallet with too many cards, it loses its shape and then also becomes a pain to close the button! Anyway, just wanted to give you some well deserved kudos on your videos! P.S. Secrid released a coin pocket for their wallets (I can't recall if you've covered this in your videos yet). The idea is solid, but the execution is not great. Unfortunately, on my mini it leads to too big of a bulge in that inner pocket. I'm sure it would be a good product for you to make a video on. Your comparison video of the Premium vs. Regular Secrid wallets also convinced me to not waste my money chasing their Premium wallets over the regular styles (you honestly deserve some sort of compensation from the brand for all the work you've done for their consumers lol)! Thanks again!
I've got 2 x Winston Wingbacks in my drawer collecting dust! I thought they was going to be the end all of EDC? Then I tried Secrid. I first got the Mini wallet then found my holy grail wallet of all time the Secrid TPU with elastic fabric band.
So the magic wallets were a thing when i was a kid. You can just put money it and then open it from the other side and it "magically" captures the dollars in the bands
36:19 question about the XSTO. What happens if you have fewer cards than the capacity? Are they loose? In a way that they might fall out? Or are they still secure? Thanks!
Have you tried the Aviator Slide wallet yet? Would love your opinion on it, I think it's very cleverly designed, also a family business that produces in Germany
I’m just curious how long did you have a secrid mini wallet for? I had mine for seven years and the cards doesn’t seem snug as they used too. But I definitely agree with you, I owned 10 wallets and the mini wallet is far the best wallet i ever own and truly my favourite. I’ll Definitely pick up one up in the Metrotown Mall haha i see your compass card. I appreciate the video, I was thinking of getting a different one but you convinced me to stick one.
The Garzini Magic Wallet has the words, “ genuine leather” stamped into it. Last I checked, genuine leather is not top grain or full grain. For $45, it’s definitely genuine leather.
All this "lifetime warranty" is just a selling trick. Because, it's not your lifetime. It's the products lifetime. And often it's just some parts of the product. Like a strap or something. And then they consider lifetime of the strap to be three years or something like that. So they say "lifetime" and in reality it's just three years covering broken rubberbands or bad stitchings 😅

@@chrisfrye5498 I've been using the secrid, and I really like. Holds everything I need perfectly.

Thank you for this! I ordered the double version of Secrid. Appreciate your in-depth review sir! 👏🏻🤘🏻
Nice to see Canadian bills on the table. The Groove Life is cool. How many cards will it hold with 3 embossed cards?

This is my wallet as well and haven’t looked back

They are secure but the cash may fall out if you don't have enough cash.
With regards to the Frenchie .. if you put a few less cards would that allow more room for a few more bills?
Have you tried the Aviator Slide wallet yet? Would love your opinion on it, I think it's very cleverly designed, also a family business that produces in Germany
Had it the plates become loose eventually. Really slick design but passable

Do you actually fold each individual bill in your wallet or is that just for the video?
Hi Josh, I have made my own wallet design that I would like to submit for review. Is there somewhere that I can contact you with more info?
Great video, thank you!
It's easier to fold all the cash together instead of each bill separately.
Hahaha very nice comment lol
