"My life has always been full of surprises, and my talk was no exception.
I went to TEDxLaçador in order to remove a personal blockage related to my past. I had my text all ready and laid out, but when I started to talk about all the difficulties that I and many other people had experienced, I forgot part of the text and just let my heart speak.
To put into words and share my experiences is a great achievement for me because it helps to reflect on the possibility of renouncing dreams in order to fulfill other dreams.
The purpose of my achievements is to help in the social, cultural and economic transformation of my favela, and sharing this mission is essential.
