Ah the good ol'days of M.A.S.K. Nothing like getting up Saturday mornings and watching Wilford Brimley lead VENOM in their eternal quest for global domination.
I loved m a s.k as a kid,had lots of the vehicles loved creating my own play stories.Thank god for this,I can relive my youth again, brings back so many memories,I am 48 and wish I still had my mask toys. With all technology and cgi they could do a film, Transformers has been done .So why not a mask film, could be a big hit, Michael bay or Chris Nolan could produce it Anyone else agree?.
@@stevemartin6887 Gotta admit that when Bay and Bruckheimer were working together, they made some good titles. Bruckheimer could write an action story, Bay knew that physics was a thing.
Casting ideas: Michael Keaton or Jack Nicholson as Miles Mayhem... Chris Evans as Matt Tracker... John Rys-Davies as Alex Sektaur... Michelle Pfeiffer as Vanessa Warfield... I could see Dave Bautista as Cliff Dagger... And if keeping the MCU reunion party going, Robert Downey Jr. Would be hilarious as Sly Raxx... Wesley Snipes as Hondo MacLean... Ben Affleck as Brad Turner... And since this is my fantasy casting, let's go with Jackie Chan as Bruce Sato(Yes, wrong nationality, but he could dispense the fortune cookie wisdom sayings without getting cancelled in this modern age, and wouldn't have to fake an accent)
Well, they have resurrected it in comic form in recent years, as part of the Hasbro universe with GI Joe and the Transformers... Entirely feasible concept to go to film, if enough demand.. just don't GI Joe it all...
Ah brings back childhood memories. Anyone here seemed to have forgotten almost all about this cartoon but you start watching it all the memories just start flowing back? I remember owning Mayhem’s helicopter jet toy. Those were the days where 80’s kids enjoy these cartoons on their TVs after school.
Someone needs to keep an eye on that kid. 😅Maybe there's no mom. Scott does help out, though. T-Bob's pretty fun. Wild action & nice animation. Thanks. 🙂
I would say that Scott is dumber than a sack of hammers, but that would be an insult to hammers everywhere. 99% of M.A.S.K.'s problems would have been solved if they had euthanized him at some point.
Considering his father's stopping to take a look at the cracking column in the spike trap so he could make a dramatic escape, the apple does not fall far from the tree.
Mark I am 39 and as an animator, I am doing my best to bring these kinds of cartoons back to the screen...be it a smart phone, tablet, or flat screen tv, or pc!!
Yeah! And the Simpsons should get changes of clothes, too! And the Flintstsones! And the Jetsons!.... it's almost like they're cartoon characters or something....
Yeah! And the Simpsons should get different clothes, too! And the Flintstones! And the Jetsons!... it's almost like they're... cartoon characters, or something....
Paul Davies This series while cool has all the elements of a Raiders film with its nonstop action, lost cities, booby traps and tongue in cheek humor. What more can one ask...it was the 80s!
I always remember parents telling use that this he man and the rest teaches violence to kids LOL what utter BULLSHIT!!!!! I love the moral messages at the end and yes i do where my set belt.
One great thing about this episode is that they use Boulder Hill in battle station mode. The only other time they used battle station mode was in fog on Bolder Hill.
i always love how they get call and how they leave its very commerical but why the hell would Matt said i approve of this line up after... god should hate to be called in and then after told to go home its like aww man you made me leave my house and now its on fire like wtf
You're thinking what I'm thinking. I always humming the same notes and think about both Megaman (Rockman) and M.A.S.K. ua-cam.com/video/CJdFxTOysjo/v-deo.html
20:13 We are about dedicate our lives to you, oh comic-relief scooter android. However we will instead create the pre-cursor response of the nineties and say NOT! Oh, religion.
Do you ever notice how there are so many small glitches with this show. First off this episode it show Matt Trakker in one outfit the one he wears when riding in Rhino then when its time to go into action he has changed clothing and is now wearing his outfit for Thunderhawk, and if the team already had there mask when they were battling Venom why did the get energized again.
Maybe they're goin further afield after the record store.positvemessage would be to walk instead of drive but I guess it's targeted towards kids ergo wouldn't be as apt as the buckle up message : )
Maybe the house is furrier away than we think, after all Matt is pretty rich, besides, why the hell does his son who clearly not old enough to ride a motorbike get a robot scooter instead of a childminder?
The classics never get old. I'm 37 and still love them
Joshua Piggott my favorite toys coming up after the turtles of course lol
You're right. I'm 45 and never get tired of them either.
I'm 60 and I agree with you
One of the greatest cartoons from the 80s.
39 almost turning 40 and i still watch these cartoons like im a kid even at work
I always loved mask as a kid thank you for making this so everyone can see it
Good thing that the secret city was a 10 minute drive away.
Ah the good ol'days of M.A.S.K. Nothing like getting up Saturday mornings and watching Wilford Brimley lead VENOM in their eternal quest for global domination.
+Syphon Filter I always thought he looked like a scary Captain Crunch.
Syphon Filter do u remember the action figures? the were basically gi joes with little rubber mask helmets lol
Back to my child hood 3rd episode in, suppose a marathon catch up is all that is needed.

geweldige serie, vind het nog steeds super. inmiddels 36 jaar
That underground passage at 6:37... Always my favorite part in every episode!

When the staff is selected, they drop everything.
Don't even take a bite of that sandwich Firecracker.
+TightManlyPants seriously that was a perfectly good sandwich, just eat it on the way!
20:41 - I'd be extra careful to wear my seat belt too, esp. if my dad HAD A FLYING CAR!
I still like watching cartoons like MASK even though Im 38.
Use to love this show as a kid. Had all the toys!!! Ar the time the educational teachings were so cool

Extremely valid point, my friend.
I would say you're over-analyzing a children's cartoon....
@@chrisbg99nah, Matt knows he’s wearing plot armor
monk- there is no book of power. it does not exist. (as long as they dont look behind me i might get away with this.) shoved to the side. Monk-SHIT!!!
Condor ran out on his band just like Axl Rose back in the day.

jerospace HOLY SHIT!! You think axl was in mask?!
Imagine being an archaeologist in the MASK universe.
Amazing how Brett Turner could hear his MASK watch with all that noise in the background.
Maybe it vibrates.

THIIIIIIEEEFS. they took my book, stop them. lol
Never watched this as a kid. That theme song brought me here.
how did matt change into the rhino costume so quick then to the thunder hawk outfit?
You’d think being a millionaire, Matt Trakker could afford more than one set of clothes for Scott.

T-Bob must get some good mileage to stumble across lost cities.
Good to see you watching this, enjoyed your comments on Wheeled Warriors :)

Thank God it was not the book of the Dead.
T-bob translates it and reads It aloud.
I'd love to see a live action adaptation but not like GI Joe was.
The face-like thing on the staffs and the book look like Widget from Excalibur. #📖
Venom needs to do some serious recruiting, they are way outnumbered every time.
Calls everyone but Gloria Baker :(

Superb parody. I LOVE this
80s best cartoons and toys
Book of Power:
In this episode, M.A.S.K. has to recover the Necronomicon before V.E.N.O.M. uses it to summon the Great Old Ones.
The record store? Aw man, I’m old.
As a kid it made perfect sense for a ancient South Asian like culture to have existed in Nevada.
I was waiting for the monk to say Yes there are two of us.
Pretty smart of Dusty to hide the book in a pizza.
One great thing about this episode is that they use Boulder Hill in battle station mode. The only other time they used battle station mode was in fog on Bolder Hill.
Question How Did Venom Get Away , When It Was Seven Mask Agents On Assignment !
@@anthonyrichie390 I am not sure. How did Sly get out of the pit he fell in to? The writers did a sloppy job at times with the story.

Jared Shank It's called continuity errors. IE: proper character colors, outfits or even vehicle or weapon wrong designs.
.... it was a cartoon.... for children....
A wizard did it.
How come the old white dude venom leader look like George papadapalis from Webster?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Madk Best tv shows a Lot years passed
Love mask one my favorite cartoons
This has to be one of the biggest MASK teams in a single episode, right?

The scanner couldn't find the homing device but everything else
Isn't that the same voice of the kid who played Dennis the Menace?
+RocketeerAndRoll That's correct. Brennan Thicke, who is Alan Thicke's son and brother of Robin Thicke.
Interesting...they got Paul Reubens to do the voice of T-Bob....
All Mayhem had to do was close the window He'd still have the book
# I have matt tracker, from Mask...I have a toy flying car him self at mid 90's.
