It looks like it just became available. All numbers are within 1 MPG from the 2024 models with both the 1.6T and 2.5T engine. Some trims went down 1 in city but gained 1 on highway or vice versa. Very close overall.
is the EX the only trim that gets surround view monitor/blind spot monitor? I was under the assumption GT-line and GT would get these as optional additions. And is EX the only one that gets the combined digital dash + infotainment? Kind of confused the difference between GT/GT-line navigation vs EX
The EX gets surround view monitor/blind spot monitor as standard and it is optional on the GT as part of the GT1 package. It is not available on the GT-Line at all. The infotainment between GT-Line, EX, and GT will all be the same but the digital cluster will be different depending on the equipment. The EX gets the nicer cluster standard, optional on GT as part of GT1 package, and not available on GT-Line at all.
question do you have any information on which trim levels will have ambient lighting and when will the k5 release??? thanks loved the video very detailed I currently own a 2023 kia k5 gt line looks like im going to have to upgrade to ex since the gt line won't be getting any of the new features.

According to another person, the tan will still be available. I can't confirm that as I don't have access to the official build sheets that dealers have.

I don’t like how they arrange their trims. The GT is the most feature packed and most expensive (if you pick the GT1 package). EX shouldn’t be listed at the end. It’s a weird up and down value across all the trims.
Unfortunately it also has a terrible dual Clutch Transmission that already is giving owners problems. When will manufacturers learn to stay away from Dual Clutch Transmission and CVT transmissions
That information is not available yet. Given the 2024's are relatively new to lots, I would expect that information to be out sometime later this summer into fall.
i will never understand why the GT trim doesn't come AWD. Like really? I'm curious to know what theGT line would look like compared to the full GT model outside minor cosmetics

@CarsMadeSimple but u stated that they don't list the full exterior colors available so couldn't that mean the same for the interior? Or does it specifically say it won't have that interior color? Also it could be that color but named something else someone told me they ordered a gt and more colors than black with green stitching were available
@@j317 It's possible because it's a $0 cost interior color. The Red interior on the GT-Line is $295 which is listed. Ill keep an eye out and post updates when they become available.

Some are saying its because it wasn't reliable. But the 1.6 Turbo has been around for many many years. And has proven to be reliable. And I found out its still available in Korea. Its obvious they are cutting costs here as a Turbo engine is more expensive to build. My 2021 has been flawless, and I'm glad it has the 1.6, it's more fun.
Im glad there's no 1.6 anymore but im still upset they're still using dct transmissions with no awd on the gt trim

GT LINE has had BLIND SPOT taken away! Thats crazy! Most cars today have that. Glad my 2021 k5 has it, and I do use it. My 2017 Elantra has it!
The ETA for my 2025 K5 GT has been moved up from June 25th to June 6th. My birthday is June 9th so it will be a nice present…

Manufacturers usually end up sorting them by the starting price, not ending. This is why the EX might be listed after the GT.
Why the hell doesn’t the GT trim get AWD? Makes no sense! And I wish we could get the interstellar Gray exterior color for the GT trim, too! 🤦🏾♂️

If Kia added AWD to the GT it would put the price over $40K. I’m pretty sure they wanted to keep the price under that…
