Dave Ramsey is a snowball effect guy. You’re paying $500 for a car every month, $200 for college every month, $150 for a phone, etc… once your phone is paid off take that $150 and start paying $650 on the car, after the car is paid off now you pay $850 a month towards college. Basically you just keep spending the money you’re spending to get out of debt fast and never acquire any new debts. It works. But if you got low interest rates on stuff just invest. If you can get a 4% return annually and owe 2.5% interest on something don’t rush to pay it off. I do a little of all of it. I put more towards my house principal, more towards retirement, more towards credit cards. I got 2 vehicles paid off and 2 college loans paid off. Just work so much you don’t have hobbies or time for them and buy the magnificent seven stocks. Avoid cryptocurrency! Enjoy your older years stress free. Enjoy now stress free! You won’t have to worry whenever you have a vehicle repair or maintenance job done. Never stress over the bills. You just have no free time. It’s actually a good trade off. I prefer no bar drinks and having to never worry.
