Hear me out, Aquarion in drylands isn't completely at a loss, since "flood" acts like a forest - all enemy units can only move one square, in a 1v1 50% of the map is flood therefore this gives aquarion a big boost on defense and gives time to build a sustainable defense with the yelly jelly's. Try it out I promise there is potential in Aquarion drylands.
I think Ai-Mo can be an A tier, depending on the size of the map. By getting philosophy early on and delaying hunting or organization, you get a very slow economy at first, but in the middle game you'll be getting any tech you need without having to wait many turns, allowing you to adapt in combat.
swordsmen aren't very good compared to the effciency and speed of riders (riders also lead to the road tech which is integral for winning games). its also important to note that C tier means that the tribe isn't bad.
I've been playing Omaji lately and they are incredible at massive maps. They take a while to set up because of balancing between villagers and tech, but they're pretty fun
I have quite a few convincing wins with Polaris on 900 drylands, some even against good Elyrion players. Playing them is like playing Quezalli, you get slow economy, but once you are to the point of rider roads, you get the ice bank and you can afford anything you wish. Gaami are also great against giants, although a bit fragile against catapults , dryland maps allows you to rip apart everything they have as a tank with as many knights as you want to build. Not to mention, getting Ice Fortresses can be a pain in the ass for the opponent.
@@JakeLovesSteakevery city you captures give you 9 frozen tiles, and every boarder growth give you 25 frozen tiles, which means like 2 extra stars without extra investments
Polaris units suck. Nothing speaks for them in dryland. And if you defeat Elyrion it just shows how low the Niveau is you play on. Because Elyrion is broken
@@nithraliabrawlstars6541 you can say the same for Elyrion, both Polaris and Elyrion has knights Swordsman Catapults Cloaks for the late game, while Polaris can unlock Ice Fortresses which can be a huge menace to face

Great tier list, I agree with basically all of this but I think Quetzali should probably be B tier. Their resource density is crazy and gives them so much versatility in what tech route they can choose, and early defenders make aggressive exploration into enemy territory possible.
Quetzali has great resources, but you have to go out of your way to access them in the early game. Defenders are great units, but they don’t have the dash ability nor do they have a good attack power. Both of these things together make Quetzali a slow tribe in the early game, and you are unable to apply fast pressure to the enemy without additional units. Compared to other C tier tribes, they all have the same problem of being slow in the early game except yaddak (which I think should be B tier) and Luxidor (which should be D tier) but have decent economies late game. All in all, Quetzali is amazing on smaller maps where being defensive is crucial in buying enough time to get a good economy rolling but on a normal sized map, gets out classed by faster tribes or more economic tribes.
Can you do a video about a defensive draw with elyrion, or see how much you can fend off as a challenge run? Also, Vengir is awesome and super fun to play, despite their flaws
Quetzali has alot of tier 1 resources and can even make a city level 3 and the protection of defenders makes them good in capturing a village/city puts them to low A tier
Nobody understands Vengir. 1st tech is hunting bc your capital always has two animals. Then forestry while it’s still only 8 stars. Now here is the advanced part: before you capture your third city, CLEAR ENOUGH FORESTS TO GET RIDING. Vengir has a very good Forrest population. The key is to clear a majority of the Forrest’s for quick stars. Forrestry is essentially a free tech for Vengir, as clearing 8 Forrests make your get your money back asap, and allows you the flexibility of lumber huts to get your cities to level 2. Very rarely and I aiming for a level 3 city with Vengir unless I see a cost effective option. Vengir is difficult to play because you have to be very precise with which Forrests you clear and which ones you make lumber huts. Criminally underrated tribe.
I think Polaris should be more in c or d tier than f Polaris is better on water maps (such as continents)but they can also be very strong on land with their freezing abilities they might struggle in the early game cuz their economy isn‘t really high without their version of markets also because they don‘t have any tech with population in the beginning
If you're able to get a freeze off on your opponents without using the super unit your opponents just don't know how to play around polaris, and the super unit itself is quite hard to obtain in a reasonable time (before catapults/archers from an econ tribe or before getting rushed down by Cymanti/Elyrion).
Zebasi is s tier IMO. They are just flat better then imperius because of the huge forest rates of imperius. They are almost forced to go for forestry in mid game and its so expensize. Zebasi needs construction and that is the ONLY economy tech they need to level up all of their cities alot, most of the time. The 1 extra star you gain from the 5 starts for farming vs the 4 stares is easily off set by imperius needing techs
? roads cost 3 now plus the 2 star warrior, that's a lot of econ being sacced compared to 3 star Oumaji riders with the added surviability attached too.
It might be very useful to teach us how to fight elyrion ':D I am at the point of leaving the game when I see my opponent plays it. I can defeat it sometimes, but it's just pain and boring fighting elyrion after elyrion...
Zebasi is a low S-tier is you ask me. Because farms allow of easy movement with riders. Its one reason I dislike luxidoor because their cities then to have too much forest.
Thats a good point, but other than easy movement with riders, they just don’t have the same ease of access to offensive military units like bardur or any of the S tier tribes.
Completely agree with this list. Elyrion and Cymanti are my top picks in that order. Dragons dominate. Knowing where ruins are behind the fog is a huge advantage. Polaris is not as good on dry land, but they are still my 3rd. I can freeze and steal your assets with mind benders.
is this taking into account the aquarion rework, with the YELLY BELLY, also how is bardur now A tier, I still think they're better than imperius bc farming leads to more useful techs such as archery and forestry, which leads to mathematics which can train catapults which can take down giants
@@ThePawsketeer they are already better on land. Firstly, they got all their terrain flooded, which allows them to move easily in it. And second, they recently got a new op unit that lets them very efficiently flood terrain.

as a polaris player, i disagree. ice archers are quite okay, but that's about it. most of their units rely on ice (frozen water tiles), and this is a drylands map. ice fortresses are too expensive and battle sleds are borderline useless (in drylands). their economy can also struggle quite a bit.
So you've done a game where you skipped 40 turns. Have you ever played against multiple bots, beaten them each to one city each then disbanded all your units to see if they can make a comeback? 😂😂😂😂
Bardour is still the best tribe on my opinion. Cymanti is very weak and you beat them with rider roads. Elyron is also poor, when you can manage to kill the dragons. Bardour or Imperius are the winers if you know how to play them right, they are unbeatable. Any thoughts?
Yeah 1 big thought bruh. Even if you are right about cymanti because they suck, you are COMPLETLY wrong about elyrion lmao. Do you think dragons are their only threat? They are litteraly a normal tribe they have no disatvantages.
