  • Introducing the Botanic Ale - South Australia’s newest craft beer made with ‘Navigator’, a barley variety developed by researchers at the University of Adelaide.
Experts at the University spent more than ten years developing the Navigator variety, tailor made for the South Australian brewing market. It offers the industry an increase in brew-house yield.
Navigator was grown in the heart of Adelaide at the Botanic Gardens of South Australia, and brewed at the Lobethal Bierhaus, with assistance from Coopers Brewery - one of the largest Australian owned breweries.
The University of Adelaide is committed to delivering research outcomes that contribute to local, national and global well-being.
