I have been trying to find noodles like these in my local asian grocery marts and could NEVER find them! This Might just be a better and less expensive alternative!
I am also a thick noodle enjoyer 👏 you've really expanded my opinion on the versatility of rice paper!! I could easily see this go with other toppings to make it an even more filling dish!
Made this snack today and I dig it. Thx for the recipe! Next time I shall try them with 4 layers of rice paper and slightly less oil. Also threw in some crushed peanuts for a little added texture (which I would definitely do again) Can't wait to try your rice paper dumplings!
Bro you are so entertaining.. like I don't even watch cooking tutorials often but I seriously LOVE your channel..and I love how instead of those boring cooking tutorials people make you actually made your video fun and interesting..hats off girl.. I hope you get a million subscribers
I let some rice paper get to sticky and ran out of time to untangle. So I just twisted them round on each other in each single round. Sprinkled some himilayan salt And fried them. Ooooo yuuum. They were twists really and they bubbled like potato chips. Absolutely delicious. Didn't require any sauces etc. Just fast home made fast food rice paper crisps. Allll from failed wrappings. 😊
@@lookcatchu the crispy chewyness if them is sooooo YUMMM. I thought I might need some dipping sauce. But NO. I think after what you said the bubbles were air. But did not matter. Yum yum. 😊
I'm itching to do your tofu rice paper dumplings too. I would like to go to a Asian supermarket to see if there's more than the 2 varieties of tofu where I am. They are both very small compared to all I see on the tube. One organic needs to be chilled, and one long life shelf one that's tiny. And that's IT. The liquid that comes out of them both is EPIC. You guys are very lucky to have so much variety.
You have solved a problem for me. I like to make beef Chow Fun but true Ho Fun noodles are almost impossible to get online even from Asian retailers. I've tried making my own from scratch with mixed results. THIS is the perfect solution. Thankyou very much Lookatchu!
Omgg😱 i tried it and it tastes like cream carbonara buldak noodls 😱 i am going to do this recipe all time at least its cheaper and tastier than noodles 😂
Das Rezept deutsch Englisch gemischt :D Nudeln: Reispapier Soße: Knoblauch Grüne Lauchzwiebeln Korean Rote chilly Puder gochujang Red chilly flakes Chinese black vinegar White sugar Dark Soja sauce Light Soja sauce Hot boiled pflanzenöl Toppings: Koriander Sesam
Hi! Tried it with spicy beef and vegetables as side dish and it was sooooo delicious! Thanks for the recipe. This evening we're gonna enjoy your potatoe noodles with rice paper so-tteok so-tteok.
Wow super yummy looking! Sadly the noodles may be gluten free, but if the soy sauce is regular and not the gluten free kind, that dish is decidedly NOT gluten free. But I am 100% gonna try this with gluten free soy sauce and I can't wait! Thanks so much for the recipe!!!
Not the “soap”! 😂😂 I love me some cilantro! The texture & flavor of the noodles, what would you compare them to? In context of the Samyang noodles and typical pasta noodles
Question...did you separate the 5 layers of 10 strips of the rice paper once you cut it? Or is that several batches of the 5 sheet/10 strip method? Cuz that looks like way more than 10 single strips of noodles? This looks AMAZING!!! I need to get me some gochugaru, black vinegar, and dark soy soy sauce. Yummy. Yummy yummy. I would add shitake mushrooms and egg! OMG!
LOOOOOOOOOVE this idea, love noodles soooooooo much. Cannot wait to try your recipe. Yummmmm YESSSSSSSSS please. And you are soooooooo soooooooo adorable and entertaining.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Is there any replacement for the gouchang pepper thing(sorry I don’t know how to spell it) but I haven’t found it in my international stores so what could be a good substitute?!!Also love ur vids❤️
@@liluv1987 Olive oil doesn't have a high smoke point, so you'd probably want to be careful not to burn it. Also, I think the flavor would be too strong. You might want to try Avocado Oil.
Man, the texture and consistency of the noodles worked really well the first time, but every other time I've made them, they stick to the cutting board horribly.
I think I must have done them wrong.. I love the video and I just thought to try them for myself and they were really really slimy, almost chocked on them as they were slipping in my throat before got a chance to bite them! Sauce was bomb, but what did I do wrong? This looked fantastic 😭
Most problems with rice paper texture is soaking them too long. Also did you get the same brand? I always need to play with a rice paper recipe a couple times before I get the hang of it 😊
@@lookcatchuI’m sorry if I worded that wrong. I mean to say I followed your instructions with the ingredients but I used a pack of noodles instead of rice paper because I was out. Is that okay or should I have used 2 packs?
I made this today and it tasted really good, but😭 I could’ve choked so many times it’s so slippery and jellyish, it’s so chewy, is it supposed to be like that??

This was so good. Don’t be afraid to season your noods :)
Looks good am going to try this
After u pour the oil did you reduced the oil or not? So I'm eating oil with noodles?
I've learned that using a round pizza slicing wheel works easier than a knife to cut the strips.
Looks so good! New subbie
Can I use olive oil instead of vegetable oil? Sorry if that is a dumb question.
I just made this dish for the first time and with olive oil. Yum.

Can you use Cayenne peper as allternative for the Korean red pepper powdee?
i suggest paprika instead of cayenne. cayenne pepper is very spicy! paprika is the most similar to gochugaru
@@lookcatchu thank you
@@jessicamagana1682 Cayenne pepper would be hot af.

Do you have a suggestion for what to substitute that vinegar with? I don't have that one.
