Einne Gitte Haenning hat mit der Boland-Clarke-Bigband schon i. d. 60ern gezeigt, daß sie für europäische Verhältnisse ne gute Jazzsängerin ist, hat aber noch bis fast Mitte der 80er gebraucht, bis sie sich von den Vorgaben (der Plattenfirma oder des Managements?) abnabeln oder "freischwimmen" konnte, um die ihr gemässe Musik zu machen...

COMPANY con DAGMAR KRAUSE che poi andò in bands di avanguardia come SLAPP HAPPY, HENRY COW, ART BEARS e NEWS FROM BABEL mentre INGA RUMPF oltre ai FRUMPY ebbe anche l'esperienza con gli ATLANTIS che durò POCO appena lo spazio di due LP's . Questo filmato storico direi la vede giovanissima esibirsi ad un programma televisivo tedesco del 1968 !!!!!
Zuerst einmal sollte man sich in die Zeit probieren zurück zu versetzen..... und viel, viel wichtiger ist doch, was aus Inga geworden ist. Mir hat sie damals wie heute viele gute Zeiten mit ihrer (inkl den instrumentalen Kollegen natürlich) Musik gebracht.
