You're a life saver! Thank you! I have _many_ posts on my original Facebook account when I was a teenager that were available for all to see, and I wanted to change it to friends only. Better safe than sorry because who knows what will be used against you in the future. Something innocent today is a thought crime tomorrow. I don't delete the account either because I like the scroll through it for nostalgia once every several years.
Is it possible to update the profile for future posts? When did this feature change? I was unaware that all my posts were public unless I edited the options each time. I’m disappointed in this change.
i did it, to all who wants to set friends all shared post GO TO SETTINGS CLICK PRIVACY SETTING CLICK “Who can see your future post” AND SET TO “Friends” AFTER THAT YOU CAN SEE THE “Limit who can see past posts” AND CLICK LIMIT DONE!!!
I accidentally click the limit past post, is there any ways to return to public my reels videos and pictures post, as there is no option for edit privacy. I only manage to return to public my live videos. Please anyone can help me. Im so desperate. Thank you.
If my initial post setting was "only me", and 8 hours later I changed it to "friends", will it still notify friends that I have posted? Will it rank lower in my friend's timeline because it was posted 8 hours earlier? Thks.

Just after having reached Settings and Privacy then Settings, you say scroll down and tap on Privacy Settings BUT there is no Privacy Settings, the top of the page says Account and Privacy Checkup just before the next heading Preferences so you see I am just stuck! I moderate a mental health support group and I have some nasty people to deal with so it;s really important to me.
