Hi Corey. Was going to comment after your last video how impressed I am with the budget friendly pricing you have in your resale booth. I stopped going to antique/craft booths a long time ago, as the pricing is usually laughably ridiculous, especially given how their inventory is sourced from thrift stores 99% of the time. Of course those like yourself have overhead fees to rent your booths, so there SHOULD be a markup since it is a business after all. It's just refreshing how YOU seek to make your space somewhere where you yourself would be drawn to patronize. It stands to reason that doing so requires more 'hustling' on your part---constant trips to thrift stores, etc. whether you feel like it or not....LOL. I commend your 'win win' approach to selling, and know it will pay off in spades as you build your business. :)
Thank you Karen. I feel the same way. I love thrift shopping so it's still fun for me to shop. I only usually need to shop once a week to refill my booth. I don't make tons of money from the booth but anything helps during these times.
The silver “tree” platter is a meat carving platter. The branches collect the juices as you carve and they run to the cup at the bottom. Look forward to seeing it decorated as a tree for spring. It does look like one. 😊
So many amazing finds, good eye Corey! Love when you pick up original paintings, special that talented people's work can be enjoyed by generations after them and the locations, even though probably gone now, can be so nostolgic! Thanks for sharing!
Love all of the paintings Cory! And your staging is wonderful!! When I started flipping furniture somebody told me if my pieces sold fast that I wasn’t pricing them high enough…girl your prices could be a little bit higher… just my opinion lol. And your microphone was fine…don’t know why people get so upset about little things. Continued success in your booth! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
The oil painting looks like it could be in the Swiss Alps. The style of the houses and the mountains in the background look like Switzerland to me. P.S. I love your Mother's ring!
Hi, first time seeing your channel. Wishing the bins were still in area. That silver tray is actually for turkey and the " tree" is for juices to run off. Lol, grew up using them. Works for big roasts too.
Good idea to price everything. Instead of putting NFS on things you don’t really want to sell, just price it really high and if it does find that special buyer, you’ll be thrilled.
I read to us a slice of white bread to actually clean oil paintings. I did and it worked great and my painting looked so beautiful afterwards. You just press the bread down over the painting until the bread look clean.
Once again great ideas. I love that you state the cost of the item and how much you will sell it for. I am working on some things now that I thrifted. So I hope it helps pay my rent for my booth. Yes. Challenge on 1/14/24. Krystal from krafty kreech, I was co host this time around. So I maximalised it over the top!!
@@DesertDIY Hi cory, here is the link to the thrift vid that I gave you a shout out in, it doesn't play until tomorrow at 7 pm. studio.ua-cam.com/users/videokRRA3etx4Hk/edit. Also here is the link to the playlist for the challenge next weekend ua-cam.com/play/PLH-j8gnKHw-xhKOBA-Dax0qQ7_abFpWPC.html
Linens would look good in baskets. And cutting boards can be sanded and oiled with a special oil just for them. They don't have to be used again, they just look nice cleaned up and oiled. Just an idea to get more $$$😅🎉❤
I love the fact that you don' think everything has to be painted. or stained. Many things are beautiful as isand that you price your items where more people can afford them to enjoy😊
I just recently found you here on UA-cam ... I have really enjoyed the videos that I have seen so far!! I just subscribed & look forward to what you will be sharing!! Wishing you a Blessed New Year from your newest subscriber!!!
I’m new but you crack me up! 😂 you’re like, ‘people don’t care as much as you do about your stuff’ then throwing the kids books… crash! Crash! Hahaha 😂 Thank you for sharing, you have a great heart❤ happy New Year!
Love all your ideas and fantastic finds! Where is your booth located? I live in the Houston area and would love to go by and check out your booth! Thank you and keep up the great treasure hunting!!!
Thank you for the advice. If I price things higher they sit for a long time. Since youtube is a large part of my income I have to keep making videos constantly in order to keep my channel going. Since I have to shop and flip items for every video, I have to have a fast turnover in my booth or else my garage would be bursting at the seams even more than it already is or I'd have to give things away
I love all the new stuff in your booth! You really have an eye. 🙂 P.S. Try clipping your microphone to your collar or shoulder-- it was really distracting while you were moving things around.
I'm sorry! We are still learning. It was way too loud when it was by my collar so I'll see if I can maybe turn the microphone sensitivity down or something
I still watched the whole video, don't get me wrong! ;-) I was just like, where is this new mike she speaks of?? And then I saw it on your pocket! 😀 Ha!
It’s always fun to see what people pick up, it changes my mind about it. It would be better to have your camera the right way, I want to be able to read the covers, and it’s more professional for you.
This month has been pretty good! I have sold quite a bit in the first week but I have also had a couple days where I didn't sell anything. I have heard that Jan-March is pretty slow. Fingers crossed I can keep my items relevant enough to keep selling. What do you mainly sell?

Wow I never knew that. Makes sense!
Was so surprised to see this tray
My mom had one
It’s exactly as described
Design is clever
Thanks for sharing

Thank you Kim! Since I have to produce so many pieces so quickly here on youtube, I need my pieces to sell quickly or I will run out of space.
I understand you getting the old torn book. I love books. New or old. Especially old ones. Thanks for saving the old books.
Thank you!
The European painting I would agree looks like Switzerland or possibly Austria. The style of the houses is definitely from that area.
The oil painting looks like it could be in the Swiss Alps. The style of the houses and the mountains in the background look like Switzerland to me. P.S. I love your Mother's ring!
Thank you for noticing and I think you're right
The painting reminds me of the Swiss alps.
Yep you have a great eye and great vision, your booth will draw many ladies into your shop. Good luck to you and yours..... your neighbor north I-59
Oh yay!! Thank you

Oh wow thats neat!
Wow you really did well.

Baking cookies with the grands. Will have to catch the replay. Have a great day Cory!
Have a great time cooking with the little ones

What a cool fact! I'll try that
Great finds! If you need to replace any missing wood shaving roses, Dollar Tree carries the same ones.
Oh my gosh thank you for telling me that!!!
Great finds. You picked up wonderful things. That painting is awesome.❤
I am so glad you enjoyed my finds!

Great point
I think I would make a pillow out of one or two of those pottery barn pieces.
Good idea!
I love the game boxes I would put Little treasures in them. I have lots of treasure boxes!
Every single thing you found is a great find! I just love your booth!
Thank you so much!
Your booth looks great.
Thank you so much!

Really great haul! I love your philosophy on the way you price things, and your booth looks wonderful💖.
Thank you Julie!

50 cent kids books don't break lol
Love it all! So many pretties ❤
Great finds.👍
Love your videos…! You asked for comments on your mic and it sounds like it’s inside your shirt…🤷🏼♀️
Thank you! I need to keep trying different things to make it sound better
I think that beautiful flower pedestal is by slatkin and co homeworx. They are known for those and was likely about 60 bucks at least
Whaaaat! How cool! Someone is going to be getting it for a screaming deal from my booth then
Love all your ideas and fantastic finds! Where is your booth located? I live in the Houston area and would love to go by and check out your booth! Thank you and keep up the great treasure hunting!!!

Love love love the European painting. Looks like Bavaria. Any chance of buying it.
I really need to figure out how to get a website going and ship some items 😀
CORY! 😂 YOURE KILLIN' ME! For real, you just said "unofficial fruit"? 🤣 Stop it! Too much girl! I've NEVER heard anyone say that before. Comedy! ❤❤❤
Haha I don't remember saying that but I'm glad you got a good laugh
I think I said artificial fruit lol
I think it's great that you want to price stuff according to discount but I think the prices should be a little higher.

One other thing. You might want to check and see what those paintings are worth before you sell them
Idk if it’s because you’re outside or the new mic but you sound really faded in this video. Just fyi. But great haul.
Thank you for letting me know. I am going to keep trying to adjust using this microphone

I wish I had a better camera but if I turn it the other way I won't be able to see if I am recording myself correctly lol
Your voice is nice & clear but your arm keeps rubbing the microphone, just to let you know! Love your style!
Thank you! I'll fix that
❤
Hello, please WRITE PRICE PURCHASE, please..tank you..y love your DIY..BYE..MIREILLE IN FRANCE
I will try to remember to do that
The audio sounds off. That's not a tree design on the platter. It's for meat juices.
