Angela had a Bruce dickinson like stage charisma and persona she made Arch Enemy have Iron Maiden like aura on stage when she'd perform with the band, Not only she was a great vocalist but a great performer and you can tell she's a great human being too.. The way she connect with crowd I get goosebumps just seeing her live videos.. Unfortunately that is what missing in Arch Enemy nowadays, Alyssa is good love her a lot but she can not replace Angela.. Hello. I am a former hip-hop head (well, I still enjoy the genre pre-2005 or so, but nothing recent...) I have recently gotten into metal. Arch Enemy was my "gateway drug" so to speak when it comes to metal. I knew about (and enjoyed) mainstream bands such as System of a Down and Rage Against the Machine prior to discovering Arch Enemy, and I was never much into the sector of the genre that just tried to be as dark, screaming, and screechy as some of the 'metal' genre is (no offense to those who are - I appreciate the art, I just don't prefer it...as someone who has liked hip-hop, I understand how it is when people say that "it's just noise, not music.") I guess I am just coming forth as a newb to the genre. What other bands, in a similar vain to Arch Enemy, should I look into?

I reccomend Lamb of God if you like Arch Enemy. They're pretty simillar IMO.
