To an extent I agree with the preacher. Organized religion never worked for me, so it seemed best to leave it alone. I was never attracted by the proposition that the best way to "fix" this imperfect world is to focus on making sure you will enter a perfect one after death.
Satan tried to get the Galatians Christians to submit to circumcision as seen in Galatians Chapter 1. Paul said NO! Satan tries to get Christians to submit to the Old Testament water baptism of the Jews. Paul is not here. Who will say NO? Who will add Old Testament water baptism to their gospel? All denominations add water baptism to the gospel of I Corinthians 15:1-4.
