Thanks! I love the idea of using the ridge line instead of poles. I’m always knocking the poles over when I crawl in the tent. The first tent I ever bought when I was 15 years old was a fully enclosed nylon pup tent. I still have it and I’m 58 now. I haven’t used it for years. Once when I was in the US Army I was in an exercise where we were crowded into a miserable little hovel and I used that tent instead of sleeping where I was supposed to sleep. I set it up in the woods a few hundred meters away from the FOB and slept like a baby.
Thanks man!! 🙂 Appreciate your kind greetings! Well, I like the ridge pole idea with that stick realy, I´ve seen this way doing it on a older model Belgium Army Jigsaw Pattern tent. It makes it also freestanding like yours. Of course I own also a German Bundeswehr pup tent. I like the set up with a ridge line. Just like with any tarp A-frame configuration. In my opinion a good, fast and reliable way to set it up. Cheers Mate
its nice to learn something new. thanks for your time to make videos with or without talking or music . how lucky are us for great content. pup tent just for the dog something new.
I just wanted to say that I really enjoy all your military surplus videos. Very good stuff. Although the woods you film look very different than the woods in the Ozarks. lol keep up the great videos
Heya Lee, I'm close to 1,90 m and the poles annoying me. So I prefer the ridgeline . The outside structure I will test ... like it ! As allways with all the best Jürgen
What I do is buy mylar bags off Amazon. Then say make a curry/chilli/bolognaise and make a few up and freeze um buddy. The all day breakfasts from home bargains are really good in them.
