High-Level visit from Comoros

Azali Assoumani, President of Comoros, paid a visit to WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on 12 June 2024. The least-developed island nation was accepted for WTO membership during the WTO Thirteenth Ministerial Conference, in Abu Dhabi. The two leaders discussed the post-accession plan for Comoros to fully benefit from WTO membership.
