Thanks Soland. Without the help of you and Blizz I never would've gotten started. Thanks for the help with the camera. I mean it. Best first and middle name eveeeerrrr!!!!!
Hey Corby. I am so excited about you making sausages and showing us how to do them! Thats one of the things I've been wanting to try. Hope you're feeling good today. Cheers man
@CorbyQ Good video on this product, I'm considering buying it but I noticed that the end of the auger was plastic I think, can you confirm? Also, it's been 6 years since you did this video, how has the grinder fared all these years, is it still working??? Thank you
@@trustworthyjane5243 I appreciate the comment and glad this video is helping at least one person. Lol. I believe the auger was metal I can't be 100% sure and check, I gave it to my father to use a while back.
@@CorbyQ Bought it gets delivered tomorrow! Now, before I actually bought it, I looked at some written reviews and some people were saying that before using were suppose to spray the parts with a food grade silicone spray? I didn't see you do that or say to do that in your video, do you know anything about that. Any info would be helpful. Thanks
@@trustworthyjane5243 funny you ask that. I didnt actually do the food silicone i figured i would be running enough fat thru it that it would be enough lubricant. I don't think it would hurt to use the extra silicone spray I think it's a personal preference TBH.
@@trustworthyjane5243 i did reach out to my dad and the auger itself is metal he said the gear might be a hard plastic but he uses it and hasnt had a problem
Yes the meat grinder is awesome. I sometimes use the machete for slicing meat but it is more for just in case, I also have about a 8 inch buck knife tucked away next to the back door. Zombie apocalypse could happen at any time. Lololol. Thank you for watching I appreciate it
That's cool man. I have never ground my own meat, even deer meat I always just took to a processor. I'll be on the lookout for a good deal on one, cause the idea of making my own burgers intrigues me... Thanks for sharing man! btw I somehow had never subbed the channel... My bad. I changed that today lol
Just picked one up, hopefully it stands up to all the deer I need to put through it, my homgeek meat grinder made it through 5 deer half way through the 6th (not all same day)the auger stripped out
Sorry to hear that. I havent had a problem with mine yet it has stood up quite nice. Im getting ready to 30 lbs Kielbasa next week. Thank you for watching I appreciate it
I got my Weston #8 Meat grinder I purchased from Home Depot. After I followed the instruction, put all parts to the main body, feed the meat, plug in, then pushed the ON/OFF button, nothing happens :-
Weston is a terrible company. Some products work ok +-. Their qc out of china is terrible. Good luck if you have a problem with a product down the road.
This is now my favorite channel to watch on UA-cam Corby. Keep up good work man, can't wait to see more cooking videos.
Thanks Soland. Without the help of you and Blizz I never would've gotten started. Thanks for the help with the camera. I mean it. Best first and middle name eveeeerrrr!!!!!
Corby Q no no no you have THE COOLEST first and middle name ever and you're welcome for the camera, I'm happy to help.

Great review... I think I'll purchase one. I must say, that machete you have hanging up there. I have a few hanging in strategic places myself..!

Just picked this same unit up for $45 on clearance.
That's an absolute steal. Enjoy it.
Did you chill that meat before grinding it?
Absolutely, in the freezer. And the parts as well.

I appreciate that, and its cool I need to make videos to earn the subs. And BTW fresh burgers are amazing-er for some reason.
Hey! What’s up! Can u tell me pls , why my grinder spin in the opposite direction when I turned it on?
That I really can’t answer. I’ve never run into that problem. I would suggest calling the manufacturer.
wow
will this grind chicken bone?
O...So you're Corby. Was wondering who this CorbyQ guy was Kappa
Yes Mr Brawn some random guy whom I do not know Kappa

Could this grind chicken bones?
I do not know, it possibly could but it isnt a commercial grinder so I wouldnt risk it.
How many watts is your machine 500 watts or 575 watts?
Pretty sure it is 575.
It’s loud. Is that normal?
It's not super loud I would say moderately quiet for the price but higher end models would probably be more quiet.
Corby Q Thanks for taking time to respond. Appreciate you.
Still waiting for my meat corby!! Kappa
Well now that I finally made some summer sausage that might change Crappy
So yeah, um, errr, where do i find that umm errr apron............I am asking for a friend!?!?!
that was a Christmas gift from my sister in law a while ago. LOL.

I wish my wife would me bring home a meat grinder. 🥺
Yes it was very thoughtful of her. Lol.
