fast caption issue solution: enable SUBTITLES (c)

Unfortunately your English is a bit rough, so the UA-cam closed captions aren’t effective at all.
The captions you provide are effective though, the only issue I have, is you aren’t very thorough in explaining the circumstances and providing thorough information. Or you warn about graphic images when the images are blurred and theirs nothing graphic to see.
Just please be more thorough in your explanations of the circumstances. Like including the name of the missing person, if permission is granted from the families,so we can look up the situation for more information.
Thanks for doing what you do!
      Your an amazing person!

Tips for my taiwanese brother from PH
    1. Never hike alone
    2. Stay away from any river when the sky is cloudy
    3. Always have first aid kit
    4. Bring best equipment for outside communications( like a phone with a big antenna something like that)
    5. Choose a safe trail when going solo that many people recommended
    6. Anti-venom incase of venomous snake bites(search for the indigenous animals present in that area)
    7. Bring proper equipments like strong rope, phone, flashlight, extra batteries, etc..

My brother works part-time as a hiking guide. The stories he told me about his hiking trips made me realize that people should hire hiking guides if they're not familiar with the outdoors. There's just too much danger of you're not careful. He and his team was once trapped a whole night on a big boulder while guiding a group of 30 high-school teachers doing hiking trip. There's flash flood around the boulder that didn't abate until next morning. They were saved by fire rescue team later, luckily with no casualties.

I don't know who this lost hiker was, if you wanted to hike out dozens of miles into to unsafe territory with slippery rocks and rushing waters, he either probably went out there With the intention of dying, why would any sane person walk out presumably by himself into such into such bad conditions. I don't think this guy even deserves to have a rescue party look for him who they themselves would put at risk their own lives just to retrieve a dumb person who tried to challenge nature more than the human body is able to cope with. I think the guy went out there to die for some reason, work related or personal related who knows.

The man who died was clearly an experienced and well prepared, fit hiker. Sometimes just cards fall the wrong way :( Going solo is incredibly rewarding, but a tiny mistake can cost you your life. I am not sure what the weather was, but that is the other thing. I read a good advice by a famous alpinist, practice stopping.. meaning set condition of aborting and religiously do that when they happen. 12pm and you are 30 mins from from your 12pm turn around? Turn around. Forgot your energy gells? Turn around. Etc. We don't know what happened, we should not blame him. RIP

It is extreme no matter what. Always prepare, because things can go wrong even if you do everything right, but it's so much worse if you do things wrong.
A friend of mine and her wife went hiking. A simple trail; literally just a long walk through a flat forest. Just very long.
The wife was not experienced or physical; she was an indoor kid with a desk job. So they practiced for weeks - tons of short hikes, preparing and setting back up plans, doing everything they could to ensure they'd be ready.
Literally half way through, Wife started experiencing fatigue. Then, worrying symptoms. Then she started vomiting. Since they laid back up plans, traveled together, alerted people to their location, and brought several means of communication, they were able to be rescued.
It turned out her wife was developing severe lactic acidosis - a build-up of lactic acid so disruptive that your organs begin to fail. If they hadn't aborted, Wife wouldn't have survived. And it was just a very, very long, but otherwise relatively unobtrusive walk. I can only imagine if they'd done something extreme.

    1. It helps bring closure to the family
    2. It prevents someone else stumbling on the body by chance.
    3. It serves as a warning to people hiking. People often hear tellings like this but they usually never see it.

A body in the open will degrade very fast so only bones would be around and likely spread , so people would not notice.....Closure for the family ? yes, they get that, but it could feed some wildlife and that is a plus. Monks in Tibet take their dead to the mountain ; crack their heads so the birds may be able to eat the brain. A dead body is not wasted ; it is useful to hungry animals. I like that the best, of all the ways to handle dead bodies. Recycle them.

A few years ago one of my favourite professors informed us that he would be away for two weeks in Japan as he had been invited to a prestigious conference on his subject to present his recent findings. He told us how much he was looking forward to it and even more going hiking there as he was in love with the Japanese mountains. He did a ton of mountaineering at home to.
The next thing we heard was that he was missing. Went on a hike in late September and there was a surprise blizzard. There was so much snow that they couldn't send a rescue team. We students put money together to help sponsor a helicopter search. They only found him a week later. But I remember how bad not knowing was. It's really the worst part. I know that feel.
I'm a paramedic and helo mountain rescuer.
My latest SAR was month ago.
A trio of young climber (18 guy, the should be guide, and two 19 girls) went lost into a whiteout.
The guy managed to climb down and called for help, providing coordinates and position.
Our station dispatched us via helo.
We disembarked at the nearest position possible.
We hiked/climbed up to the position only to discover there was no one.
    The coordinates were wrong.
Since we knew the mountain, we figured out their most probable position so we pushed up, atleast to next hut and then...
We found the girls way upper than the position the guy provided.
Unfortunately, they were already passed away, solid frozen.
A hundred hundred meters from the last hut before the summit.
    They were poorly equipped.
No gloves and almost no emergency kit.

You exhibited so much human grace throughout this video that it’s poetic. You are so humble and respectful of your vulnerability in the midst of absolute wild terrain it’s like watching a dance between Mother Nature and human nature. Perfect reminder to people who have the call of the wild in themselves (myself included) that our souls aren’t meant to conquer any terrain other than the one inside of us. I also have so much regard for the man who felt that call in himself and had the courage to set out on his journey. I only hope that while he was out there that he was also able to find peace and harmony.
