I have been watching your videos for quite a long time now. Really inspired with what you have done so far. Hope you bring more great fish in. Btw how to do you manage to pay for all the fish?
hey Joey! don't give up on rare or uncommon fish just because most people cant find them! how else are new hobbyist's supposed to learn about them? i have to say, your shell dweller tank is my favorite of all the ones you have!
YESS! when he said that i was like omg, please, yes, yes, do that!! it'd be soo nice to see smaller fish in it as well and would contrast well with the bigger ones!
It is refreshing to hear you state once again that your goal is not to keep the most exotic, the most rare or the most expensive fish, rather, to give us out here in cyberland an opportunity to acquaint ourselves with a wide spectrum of common, yet attractive and, at times, challenging fish. The gallery is the perfect way to achieve this goal. Thanks for your efforts - don't worry about being cranky - hope you feel better.
I understand not wanting to keep rare species that are hard for your viewers to get. At the same time, it's a great to see unique that we might not otherwise get to see.
I like how you do do fish that are, well, available. It's pretty cool to see stingrays and such, and you deserve your own trophy tank, but to see something that maybe one day I could do is simply inspiring, as you put it. Also, then I get a bit of first hand experience on how to keep them (and if I could) before just impulse buying. Thanks so much for the vid! Those angels are gorgeous! And not a single DOA? You have an amazing fish store AND amazing luck!
Adding the angels to the 2k would look nice, especially with the dark rays and the bright colored arowana you have in there. I'm just worried that any other planned fish for that tank would bully them, they're too pretty to die. But in all honesty I think you should, it'd look very nice and add an exotic feel to the aquarium.
My god! these are some truly gorgeous fish! At first, i thought that silver might be a dull color to have in a tank but these guys... deserving of the name angelfish for their beauty is stunning! I love the fact that all of them are looking nice and healthy :) I think most hobbyists here would know the pain of getting fish with ammonia burns and whatnot. Kudos to the provider!!!
I'm really happy for you Joey.. For what you have contributed to the hobby, for all that you've accomplished so far, for emphasizing the true meaning of this channel.. Thank you so much. Love and respect from Philippines! 😄🇵🇭🇨🇦
He technically has one(maybe multiple) he said that he has a camera that shows the 2k gallon so he can keep an eye on it while not in the gallery but shuts off when he walks into the room
please, oh please those would look and do amazingly in the 2000g tank such a contrasting fish to the rays and the blood red arrowana. and the fact they school and more than likely dip between the logs would add an excellent depth of field to the many different stages of that tank, i.e. top dwelling, mid dwelling and tank floor.
Black phantom tetras. Very underated fish, look fantastic as adults in a big group. I think the deep body shape and contrasting dark colour will compliment your angels perfectly
Wow, some of the comments below are harsh. First off who cares how much these fish cost. This is the King of DIY, he is a fish keeper and you're watching his channel to see him keep what?...FISH. I love the gallery so far plus if you pay attention you might learn something about fish keeping! He helped me clear up my cloudy tank earlier because I watched one of his DIY videos. Joey is one of the best. If you don't like what he does...don't watch him. Simple.
I feel like this fish room is going to look like a pet store. all single types in each tank. little variation. I'm hoping you change it up a little more in tanks to come. And you seriously need Khuli loaches in something. tank on buddy
I love your little monologue about why you have the fish you do. And let me say, that is exactly what your videos do. I haven't cared much about the fish keeping hobby since I was a young teen. But since the first day I found your channel I have been wanting to get back into it. Each video you upload fills me with different ideas on what I could do. Your videos are incredibly inspiring, Joey :)
Hey Joey, You make fantastic and informative videos for all levels of keepers and I'd like to thank you for that. However, it does make me sad some times that you do not pick up more of a variety or rarer fish. A biotope aquarium can be very rewarding and can be informative to people of what can be kept together (regarding aggression, water qualities and temperatures). At the same time, while the fish you spotlight are all fantastic in their own regard, keeping some "rarer" fish could inspire keepers to step their game up to the next level or even help with conservation efforts. In an age where so many natural habitats are being lost, beautiful fish are disappearing from our earth. I'd love to see at least one tank that is a biotope or of an endangered species (I'm particularly in love with the cichlids of Madagascar)! You reach so many people with your amazing videos and I think it'd be great for them to hear about some of these points. Again, thank you for your amazing videos that teach people so much!
Ohhh boiiii! These Amazon tanks going to be so legit! Cannot wait to see them when finished. Have you ever considered adding a Black Ghost Knife in one of the tanks?
I like the idea of the angelfish going in the 2k tank because your arowana is too small to predate on them and they school and so they won't be bullied easy. Plus, they are mid to lower water fish and so probably won't even bug the arowana in the first place. Considering how you have fresh water rays in the tank, this would make it have the feel of a saltwater tank that has a silver fish school swimming around. In fact, I LOVE the idea! Make it so! Side note: the silver shimmer from your arowana and the angel fish will beautifully contrast the most anticipated addition to your 2k. So when are you adding the hot pink mermaid?
Emperor Tetras would be stunning, but cardinals or neons would really be shining in a darker tank. That iridescent blue striping down the body really shines in the right lighting.
What about glow light tetras? They're darker, but still off a bit of bright contrast. Why not put the others in the 2K, that would be awesome as long as the arawana gets along with them.
I like that you actually consider the viewers of your channel before getting a fish, so that some that are interested on getting the fish that you have would also get it "easily". I really like how you deliver your words and the excitement you put into it. Subscribed into your channel just about a week ago and im not regretting it.
Why not stock the 2K gallon tank with a few fish from each tank to make it a huge community tank. Just as long as they arent aggressive fish, it would make the 2K gallong worth having and beautiful to watch the community evolve.
Black Neons are so often overlooked yet so readily available, They would contrast perfectly in a large school along with the angels, though i'm curious to know if the two species can live safely together
Right On I agree...since I been a subscriber to your channel..I have taken baby steps and I am learning soooo much from you and I love my new hobby!! You do inspire me..I love your ideas and I absolutely love all of your aquariums!!
I'm not sure if they'd be too small with the angels but I think black neon tetras would be awesome. You'll have a nice dark contrast and a nice flash of color.
Add some to the 2000gallon. You really inspired me Joey. Got myself 14 Pearl Calvus coming next week to put in my 260ltr. So damn excited. And those platinums some of them wil looook amazing in the 2000gallon as they are pearl/whitish it will lighten up the tank.
You definitely have had a massive impact on me, I am fairly new to the hobby and watching your older videos has helped me understand what I can do right now. The newest videos help me imagine what I would like to do in the future. P.S. I would love to see an update on the bichir

I understand not wanting to keep rare species that are hard for your viewers to get. At the same time, it's a great to see unique that we might not otherwise get to see.
YESSSSSSSSSSS. PUT THEM IN THE BIG TANK!!
Those will look FANTASTIC with black tetras. Super looking forward to that now.
Yes! Add the remaining Angels to the 2k tank!!!
Put em in the 2k! That'll be cool
I like how you do do fish that are, well, available. How is the Bichir?
Yes! Put them in the 2k tank!
Imagine Joey turning the 2000gallon tank in to a salt water aquarium with corals, stingrays and so many colourful fishes😅 that would look so awesome..
Infinite Lies that will be amazing
They are stunning. A huge school of neons would look awesome or a school of zebras!
idk man, but your videos are hella relaxing. Good to watch after a long day
Adding the angels to the 2k would look nice, especially with the dark rays and the bright colored arowana you have in there. I'm just worried that any other planned fish for that tank would bully them, they're too pretty to die. angels as 'schooling fish' in the 2000er would be epic!
2000er ?
If u mean 2000G me might do it now
It would be amazing if you could add those angels in the 2000G. You'll have to swim in it first though.
My god! these are some truly gorgeous fish!
Yes!! The angels will look amazing the the giant tank!!
do you have a puffer fish? If not you should try one!
We wanna see Frank!!!! 😀
Betta fish, I love those! I'm sure there are more people like me who want Betta fish.
I'm really happy for you Joey.. For what you have contributed to the hobby, for all that you've accomplished so far, for emphasizing the true meaning of this channel.. Thank you so much. Love and respect from Philippines! 😄🇵🇭🇨🇦
Have you considered setting up live streams for your tanks?
Boglenight good idea!
He technically has one(maybe multiple) he said that he has a camera that shows the 2k gallon so he can keep an eye on it while not in the gallery but shuts off when he walks into the room
"cranky" joey is relatable.
Joey you said you going to swim at 2k when hit 500000 sub...waiting for that video😁😁
Put 20 on the 120G and 20 on the 2kG . they will look STUNNING
Mad love from Portugal
Putting the extra angel fish in the 2k tank? Absolutely, They would look stunning in it as long as they don't get eaten
The shell dwellers were one of my favorite fish to see! I did appreciate that you were able to even show us those interesting fish! :D
Lol...
He orders extra as a precaution and none of them die.
please, oh please those would look and do amazingly in the 2000g tank such a contrasting fish to the rays and the blood red arrowana. and the fact they school and more than likely dip between the logs would add an excellent depth of field to the many different stages of that tank, i.e. top dwelling, mid dwelling and tank floor.
Frank needs a light.. poor fellas barrel rolling in the dark
"I enjoy one varient" fills tank with a crayon box of cichlids
Do a mass Guppy tank!!!!!
Black phantom tetras. Very underated fish, look fantastic as adults in a big group. I think the deep body shape and contrasting dark colour will compliment your angels perfectly

Wow!! They're beautiful.. i never seen a platinum before. I usually see a lot of dark colors.. just beautiful!!!
One day this week you need to give update on each and every tank
Hey Joey,
You make fantastic and informative videos for all levels of keepers and I'd like to thank you for that. OMG! They are gorgeous. Never saw that type before, really unique.
They are absolutely beautiful!! Thanks Joey!
Ohhh boiiii! These Amazon tanks going to be so legit! Cannot wait to see them when finished.
Have you ever considered adding a Black Ghost Knife in one of the tanks?
You actually inspired me to get a betta fish!! I'm starting with one to make sure I can take good care of it
YESSSS put angels in the 2000g!!!
I like the idea of the angelfish going in the 2k tank because your arowana is too small to predate on them and they school and so they won't be bullied easy. So happy you're doing angelfish and discus - I was getting worried there for a few videos...
I think putting the overflow angels and discus in the 2000g is an awesome idea. As far as a darker tetra I recommend the Black Phantom tetra.
I hadn't even heard about platinum angels before... Now if I ever get angels they're at the top of my list. Just wow, that shine :D
I now have 6 platinum Angel Fishes coming in a week, thanks to you buddy. Lol my wife not happy about it.
Emperor Tetras would be stunning, but cardinals or neons would really be shining in a darker tank. That iridescent blue striping down the body really shines in the right lighting.
The discus look like a lava lamp in the background.
I must say, those Angels are very beautiful... Tempting.
How cool would those look with an all black substrate and background with a hint of another color of choice, it'd be a starry night tank
What about glow light tetras? They're darker, but still off a bit of bright contrast. Why not put the others in the 2K, that would be awesome as long as the arawana gets along with them.
Always doing a good job and opening more and more people minds to the hobby keep up the good work!!
I like that you actually consider the viewers of your channel before getting a fish, so that some that are interested on getting the fish that you have would also get it "easily". I really like how you deliver your words and the excitement you put into it. Subscribed into your channel just about a week ago and im not regretting it.
@The King of DIY congrats for the inspiration and the education, nice speech mate.Keep on greetings from Turkey
I think they would look amazing in the 2,000gal

What's Up? Puerto Rico that wouldn't work at all.
Get some Black Neon tetras for them.
Also, are we ever gonna see you keep non-fish aquatic creatures? Shrimp, crabs, snails, frogs, turtles, ya know.
I love black neons - it hardly gets simpler than that.
Everything about these unboxings are so satisfying
They're so pretty! I love them!
even though i can't afford any of these fish, i love learning about new fish and i love watching your videos!
Yes black neons would be awesome.
Yes put them in the stingrays tank
Hey
Thx for the inspirations
Finally i have an aquarium!!
Really happy
Get well soon! Love the way the light catches on those angelfish. Great vids as always
Black Neons are so often overlooked yet so readily available, They would contrast perfectly in a large school along with the angels, though i'm curious to know if the two species can live safely together
I think the rest of them would look amazing in the two thousand.
Black neons are the perfect tetra for what you're looking for IMO. I think those extra angels would be great for the 2k. At least for now.

Dude you’re so great ❤️
White angle is very beautiful in look
Yesss put them in the big tank. That would be really cool!
I think the angels would look amazing in the 2000g
Black phantom tetras would look great with the angels and won't end up as food
i used to not like discus but after i saw you get a discus tank i thought theyre really cute and im planning on setting up a discus tank ❤️
put the extra angels in the 2k
You definitely have had a massive impact on me, I am fairly new to the hobby and watching your older videos has helped me understand what I can do right now. The newest videos help me imagine what I would like to do in the future. P.S. I would love to see an update on the bichir
I think you should put the remainder of the angels in the 2k gallon aquarium when it's time. Your doing great on the gallery.
That's right!! Remember ladies 2 1/2 inches IS extra large.
