Thank you for your video. I was wondering if you're using this with the Switchbot hub or just as a standalone device or even connected to something else.
This article shows that data is stored on the CO2 monitor and synchronised via bluetooth to the app so the hub is not needed support.switch-bot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360060298693-Data-Synchronization-Saving-and-Deletion-for-SwitchBot-Meter
For me is expensive. For this price you can buy a Rpi board. In my case, I prefer screen less ones. Greetings
@@galdakaMusicHi there, yes there are cheaper ways of measuring CO2 but most in a package like this are way more expensive.
@@galdakaMusic you can build one yourself if you prefer, I have a video showing how. Would only cost about US $20

Hi, yes I have it connected to the Switchbot Hub 2 at the moment! It works fine as a stand alone device too!
Do I need the switchbot hub to use the app to view historic CO2 data?

Hey Simon,
has it been integrated into home assistant yet? also, do i need a switchbot hub to connect it to HA?
Thank for the video!!!
@@plasticpippo201 hi there! No I don't think that it is integrated yet :( you shouldn't need the hub if you have a Bluetooth proxy or dongle
@simonsayshomeassistant thanks for your reply! Much appreciated
Can you move around the numbers on the display? Would like to have both indoor/outdoor temp/humidity displayed and CO2.
It seems that you can only display 1 temperature at a time
In the video I see that CO2 is still not exposed via Matter in HomeKit App ? But current Matter standards support it right ?
Yes, currently the CO2 is not passed through to Home Assistant via Matter, let's hope this is available soon!
Have you discovered this in Home Assistant as a Bluetooth device? Mine discovers as a light strip which is odd.
Disregard. They fixed the with the release today 👍
Yes, I believe that they are still working on this integration, hopefully it will come soon!
So, no comparison to known brands?
I have a few more co2 sensors on the way and then I will do a comparison
