battlefield was never meant to be a realistic game. you tank 10 shots and wipe out an entire squad doing so. this is a fundamental aspect of the game along with others (unlimited healing, ammo etc.).
this core fundamental aspect is incredibly unrealistic to a point where the entire point of "realism" really loses alot of its power because the entire idea of the game is meant to be unrealistic. If you want "realism" in a shooter there were and are different ones out there (arma III would be way more realistic especially when if comes to the gunplay)
in case you mean historical accuracies... those were always the case. in every battlefield game. battlefield 1 is a demonstration of this.
I take battlefield 1 because it sold the most so ppl must've loved it.
