After Another Chance at Life, Motorcyclist Reunites with the Healthcare Team Who Saved His Life

In June 2021, Victor Ramirez, a 24-year-old resident of Montclair, suffered severe head trauma in a motorcycle accident and was brought to our Trauma Center. He spent more than 5 weeks in our Trauma Intensive Care Unit (TICU) and survived not only his injuries, but a cardiac arrest and respiratory failure, thanks to the incredible team here at our hospital. Despite the odds, he has made a miraculous recovery over this past year - he is back to work and thriving as a part-time student ✨️
This past Thursday, June 30, 2022, one year after his accident, Victor and his family stopped by PVHMC to celebrate his recovery journey. He and his family were able to meet with some of the dozens of our Associates and Physicians who saved his life 🏥
