I want a lop! I have a lionhead and she's lovely but I feel kind of bad for not picking up one of her siblings as well. I didn't know that bunnies should be in couples or groups. I’m picking up my little cream colored buck holland lop mix today and I’ve been browsing a few videos to get a good idea of what tunnels and little burrow/hideaways people tend to use and the ones you have here look so much better than most of the others I’ve seen (plastic is a popular trend I’m seeing and I dislike it because the organic natural materials they can nibble on just look so much better for them!) I also have a question, what material blankets would you recommend using? I really want to pick one up today so he has something soft and gentle on his feet. Would anything work or would he be apt to chewing it up and possibly eating it?

There is a vaccine for pasteurella, but I'm not sure how well it treats it after contraction vs. prevention. According to my vet, pasteurella (snuffles) is difficult to treat since it can come back whenever the rabbit's immune system is stressed...and it's VERY contagious to other rabbits if you have any.
When you sell the babies how do you go about picking the owners? Is it first come first serve or do you pick the ones you think would give the bun a good life?
In Hollands, there is orange and then the dilute version which is cream. It used to be called fawn but was changed a few years ago by ARBA. Some other breeds use "fawn" still as well as other variations to describe the same color, so it does differ by breed.
Is it true they cost ALOT in vet bills due to chronic ear infections and eye duct infections? Cuz I want one so bad but it’s not worth it if that’s the case
It is true that rabbits, as delicate prey animals, are NOT "easy" pets, and if and when they do need veterinary care, it's usually quite costly and can be difficult to find an exotic veterinarian to care for them.
Do they breed when the male rabbit 8 weeks?...I brought mine an female baby rabbit " 2 weeks old"..and he tried to breed her but she keep runing away..is that normal?!..or the 8 weeks male rabbit is a pervert?!!
The hormones begin early in the males especially, and they will often mount their littermates around 6+ weeks, but until their testicles drop around 4-6 months, they can't actually breed.
May I ask why people want bunny’s besides how adorable they are, but all the work? The training for litter box, the smell, the constant cleaning and mess and having to make a play area with wire cages in your home. Isn’t it too much? I mean they are so adorable but I’m curious if it will effect my mental health trying to keep up with the mess and smell

I use just a pinch of raw oats (old-fashioned, not quick cook) as treats.
