- The Kanker Sisters (often simply the Kankers) are a trio of half-sisters who are infatuated with the Eds. They have a reputation of being bullies and are feared throughout Peach Creek. First introduced in "Nagged to Ed," they live in a trailer park just outside of the Cul-de-Sac. They are all the daughters of one woman, but they have three different fathers, because of the presence of three different name tags on the bathrobes that supposedly belonged to their dads (Bubba, Marie's biological father; Rod, May's biological father, and Butch, Lee's biological father). The Kankers have crushes on each of the Eds and are known to follow through on their crushes with deviant and abusive behavior.

The kankers are the perfect bullies. Not only do they make the Eds uncomfortable by flirting with them or kissing them. But they also beat them up, taunt them, take their things, and it even extends to the other kids too not just the Eds.
I saw a video where someone pointed out that the Kankers may not actually like they Eds romantical - aside from May, who is the only one who is seen having affection for Ed outside of when they're tormenting them - all this is to them is bullying.

When I look at them I don’t see bullies or rapists or anything like that. All I see are 3 little girls who haven’t had a particularly good life and don’t understand social ques and kindness because they haven’t had much experience with those things. In short they are what the world made them but with a little push in the right direction they could be redeemed and become great people
I always felt the clear elevation of threat when the kankers came on the scene. Definitely one of the more powerful fictional entities.

I don't know if that's entirely accurate. It's just that in later seasons, there's more emphasis of DD asserting himself and thus has to establish his own methods as dignified
If he has to do something within the bounds of uncertainty, he will; albeit while protesting. I think in this scenario it's an indication of what he is like while meeting new people as he simply minds himself
Again, his later portrayal sees him driven to distinguish himself as forthwith and open minded. Like the episode where he delivers the report cards, he wants to be impressionable. But I imagine if there were some kind of summer camp deal with at least ONE other Ed, he would revert to being low key, going along to get along
As an introvert myself, I can attest to the massive strain required to be bright eyed and up for every task. As it's been shown that DD and exercise don't go together
He would prefer to write about the new experience than reveal in them
The Kankers used to scare me as a kid, they're every type of criminal in one with different personalities combined to form the unbeatable Kanker sister trio. They're bullies, they're vandals, they're thieves, they're addicts, they're lunatics, and they're abusive sociopaths, they're the definition of pure Hell at it's most gruesome.

The Kankers sisters introduction episode really makes you wonder and realize how messed up they have about the idea of love.
I think their own kind of twisted love comes from their mother’s controlling and possibly negative stance on men
In the episode of where the three were rushing to get jawbreakers, Lee said, “Mom was wrong. Men do amount to a pile of dirt.”
So it’s possible they witnessed her behavior and also heard a lot towards all three of their dads

Isn’t it weird that in the first episode they were nice and if the Ed’s didn’t do anything bad or slightly annoying they might have not gone full crazy. Also love how the only character development they have is at the end. When they create the movie.

I believe the kankers relived what their mother experienced with all the ex dads. They tried to confirm their theory of what a real man is by going through exactly what their mom did . So when edd asks what s up with them the kankers already knew that at one point this part of relationship will come cuz they ve seen it 3 times already so they had their speeches already prepared . At first i thought exactly like edd what s wrong with them and they are crazy( still are) until they said we’re leaving ( from their own house) . And when the edds run like crazy their theory was confirmed “ that s a real man “ just like they think their dads are. All of them started to act the same angry way when the edds act insensitive despite having different personalities which makes me believe their mom had her own bad idea on what a real man is. She probably tried to keep them around at first by being nice but when it didn t work she tried to use aggressivenes to keep the dads around. In the end it was innevitable they had no interest just like the edds only wanted to go home. Sad to think they had to stop being nice , If they just continued to be like in the beginning ( except the kidnapping ) edds would have came back for a visit .

Tony Sampson is so cool & truly is a Legend I do have a lot of “Respect” for even till this very day. Hope I get to meet the guy along with the other 2 Voice Actors of the Eds Sam Vincent & Matt Hill One Day in my Future.

I really enjoyed watching Ed Edd n Eddy too but as I grow up, because when I was a kid I liked the characters so much but the problem is that I wasn't appreciate it as much as I got older because this cartoon has some adult jokes that I wasn't figured out as a kid. That explains their mannerisms and behaviour towards the Edds. They crave the attention and affection because they never had proper upbringings or role models to look up to. Their Mom probably spent most of the time juggling and dashing between relationships, never committing to a single one, which led to 3 different children with 3 different fathers and no one to give them proper attention. They probably grew up improperly too as a result. Now they seek that love from someone else instead.

It's disturbing to think the Kankers are at least 18 as they live by themselves and the Eds are are at least 14 and they always force themselves on them. If the show was called Dan, Dani n Daniella and they were called the Kanker Brothers the show would definitely be cancelled... the kanker sisters are not 18. they go to school with the other kids in the cul de sac who are at least 12-15. you could say that jimmy and sarah, being younger, also go to that certain school and that that it's unknown what type of school it is. also iirc the kanker sisters i believe do live with their mom, but she isn't seen like the other parents on the show are
The Kanker’s were more than likely only marginally older than the other kids. Their mom was just never around.
